Perched on the 29th floor of Waikiki Banyan Tower 1, this southeast-facing corner condo wraps you in sweeping views of the Pacific, the Honolulu skyline, and Diamond Head from the moment you arrive. The trade winds carry island air through the lanai, and whether you're savoring morning coffee above the city or watching the evening light fade over the ocean, the vantage point alone makes every hour feel unhurried. A calm, private space - right in the middle of one of the world's most vibrant beach neighborhoods.
The space
The open layout is designed for up to four guests and flows easily between the living area, kitchen, and private lanai. Ocean, mountain, and Diamond Head views are visible from the living area, bedroom, and lanai, giving the entire condo a connected, airy feel. A window AC unit keeps the interior comfortable, and fast wifi at 302 Mbps makes it easy to stream, video call, or work remotely without interruption.
Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding door and features a king-size bed dressed in fresh cotton linens, with closet and dresser storage for longer stays. The living area includes a pull-out sleeper sofa, best suited for children or occasional use. Extra pillows and blankets are on hand for added comfort.
Kitchen and dining

The condo is exactly as pictured. The furniture is comfortable and the decor is lovely. We had everything we needed. It is an end room, so there is an extra window in the kitchen for viewing sunsets over the ocean. It was the perfect choice for us. The hosts were welcoming and responded promptly with answers. A great stay!
Terrific location at quiet end of Waikiki. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.. including a view of Diamond Head and the ocean. The agents are very responsive.
We had a wonderful stay at this location and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to come and enjoy Waikiki Beach area of Honolulu. The apartment was as described and was very well equipped allowing us to have a relaxing stay.
The property was in the heart of Waikiki beach and close to the university. The on-site parking included with the booking was a must and a deciding factor when we booked. The views were also great.

We had a wonderful stay here during our four nights in the Honolulu area! The unit has amazing views from all rooms and is a short walking distance to beautiful Waikiki Beach, restaurants, and shopping. A key consideration is that parking is free in a secure garage during your stay. This unit was the perfect hub for our Honolulu adventures.
We were there to watch a tournament for our daughter and wanted to be close to where she would be competing. We probably wouldn’t have chosen this location if only there for vacation, but it was beautiful and a perfect location for traveling to all parts of the island

Great location, clean enough. Unfortunately the website pictures make it look much nicer than it really is.
It’s a cute place with a great views, but it needs some updating and furniture
We just returned from our stay last week. The location of the property is very convenient. The view from the condo is wonderful. Check-in and check-out was very easy with detailed instructions provided. We rented a car for our stay, and had free parking which was nice. Convenient to walk to dinner and attractions in the Waikiki Beach area. Condo had everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend and would stay here again in a future stay.
The unit was comfortable. The BUILDING however was under construction, the elevators took forever to reach you and had no air conditioning, nor did the hallways leading to the unit.
Staying with midway vacations was such an easy and wonderful experience. The condo had so many things a small family can use during a vacation stay. The only thing I wish they would have is a few sand toys for kids and a beach umbrella. But we so appreciated the beach chairs and small cooler that was available for us to use.
Views from the condo were beautiful . The kitchen was stocked with basic things like salt, pepper , oil and coffee filters. Pots/pans/utensils were all in good condition as well.
The place was very clean and parking was never an issue even if we came back late at night.
We will definitely consider staying here again
We really enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Banyan. The unit had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It even came with beach chairs and beach towels. Not all units provide that. We especially loved the location and the view. The unit had views of the ocean and Diamond Head. Beautiful. We sat on the balcony everyday for our meals. It was just 2 blocks from the beach. Easy walking distance to everything. A huge plus is the included parking. We drove every day to a new beach or to sightsee. It was nice to not worry about where to park or paying for parking. Overall, we had a good stay.
The pro´s are that the location is really convenient in terms of restaurants, shopping, and the beach of course. Many attractions are close and it is great to have a parking spot included. The communication as well as check-in instructions were helpful, and we really appreciated the snacks and the water upon our arrival.
The cons are not the host´s fault but I wanted to mention them as it might be helpful for other guests: The tower is in a quite noisy location and as the windows aren´t insulated at all, the noise level is high throughout day and night. Like some other guests before, we had an evacuation alarm immediately after our arrival and had to run down from the 29th floor. When arriving on ground level, there was no explanation why this happened or if there is a real emergency. This and the noise led to the fact that our stay was not as relaxing as we had hoped.
Also, the furniture and kitchen is a bit outdated but had everything we need.
Gorgeous view, (very high up if that’s an issue for you )….nice part of Waikīkī, not as crazy busy as the central parts. If you plan on doing walking it’s a great location with lots of options.Hosts are very responsive if needed. We didn’t rent a car, but the included parking option will be great if you do! (From past experience that’s a hefty cost)
