Pros: Budget accommodation with a decent assortment of kitchen equipment. Location is alright and is near free parking, however you need good luck finding a spot, which can be several blocks away and make 10-20 minutes.
Cons: The A/C was loud enough to have a negative effect on sleep. Shower was dirty with a slimy inner curtain that had spots and discoloration. Main floor area had not been cleaned. The fold out couch did not come with a sheet, only a blanket; couch also is not meant for anyone over 5’8” to fully recline

Clean apartment, central location, big balcony, nice communication with the host, very good stay!If you aren't lucky and don't get a free parking spot at the Ala Wai Canal, you have to pay 45 for 24 hours in the parking garage... a bit expensive but that's not the hosts fault. Overall I can fully recommend this room!
This VRBO was a great option for my wife and I. It has all the things we were wanting. Great view (mountain, city, & beach), nice bathroom, and walking distance to many things. We had a couple minor issues but the host was very responsive and willing to help. Would highly recommend!
The property itself is a little dated but the unit is tastefully decorated, well equipped and clean. The a/c is a little noisy but other than that no complaints.
Great location close to shops, restaurants, and beach
The location of the building was convenient, close to the main street of Honolulu but on a quieter street. Our suite faced the Canal, so it was quieter.
The beach, restaurants and stores were only a couple of blocks away. Wonderful view as well.
The only drawback was the air conditioner was noisy, so had to turn it off while sleeping. There were a couple of other foibles but they were addressed quickly by the management.
Overall, I would recommend this property.
Location is perfect. Walking distance from everything in waikiki but without the noise and the crowd. The bus stop is very close. The Appartment is clean, has everything you need and having a terrace on 35th floor is a big plus. You don't see the sunset because of a tall building right in front of the sun but the view is wonderful anyway. Especially at night.
stayed 2 weeks, Property as described, nice touch having the kitchen whizz to knock up cocktails, room suited the needs, plenty of space, great views from the lanai, overlooking downtown, Friday night fireworks and sun set, have stayed at Island Colony previously due to location, and pool / spa. Got caught out a little by not reading fine print on bookabatch commission, this should be included in the price :( overall though would recommend this apt.

Everything you need for an amazing stay in Honolulu
Great place and really good location. Close to food, coffee and shopping. We used the parking here for the majority of our stay which worked great for us (USD$40 for 24hours, come and go as you like). It was also super close to pick up locations for tours when we didn’t have a car.
The room is exactly what we required. The kitchen was clean and had all the comforts of home including a coffee machine. The furnishings were comfortable and modern. This room has a deck on the 35th floor providing astonishing views of the city.
The hotel building has a beautiful pool and convenient laundromat and store.
We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so one day.
I stayed here with my 11 year old son and we had a wonderful experience overall. The room is on the smaller side, but it was actually perfect for just the two of us. We’d definitely love to come back again!Pros:・Fantastic location! We could watch the Hilton fireworks from the lanai on Friday night.・The kitchen was well-equipped, even with a rice cooker. Great for longer stays.・The pool was never crowded, and having laundry facilities on-site was super convenient.Cons:・The unit had a musty smell when we first arrived.We saw a cockroach during our stay, likely due to the age of the building.・Most of the beach gear on the lanai was broken and not usable.Still, the pros clearly outweighed the cons. It’s a cozy and convenient place for couple or mom& kid. Mahalo!
Nice view from balcony especially at night. Bonus I got to see Friday fireworks from it. There are just a few little things that would make this unit truly perfect - bathroom could use a refresh like new shower curtain. Mattress obviously has some sort of plastic casing under the sheet which makes it less comfortable. But mostly a solid unit in a safe building. Ate a couple times in the cafe on first floor. Would recommend overall.
Wonderful experience in the condo. Was exactly as described. Loved Waikiki, rented a car from the airport and parked in the attached garage. We could walk to pretty much everything, but wanted to tour the whole island, so rented the car.
Did most of our cooking in the unit and used the BBQ’s several times.
Washer and Dryers were handy, and the hot tub was a nice way to wind down.
Especially liked the Magic Bullet blender for homemade Pina Coladas while relaxing on the balcony. View of the ocean, mountains and skyline was gorgeous.
