There were a lot of pros and cons for us during our stay.
Pros: location, really near waikiki beach and lots of great restaurants
Staff: really friendly and helpful staff
Facilities: the pool while it wasn't big was enough to cool off in. There was a restaurant and shop within the building. You could pick up towels by the pool for the day. You also could take three items from the beach candy store everyday which included sun chairs, paddle boards, surf boards etc. This was a great option to save some money.
Cons: noise for us was a big issue. Our first room was right beside the gym which opened at 6am and people in there would drop heavy weights which shook our room (335). The room was big and had a large lanai area which was amazing but was overshadowed by the gym noise.
There were ants in the room which I understand can be hard to prevent but there really were a lot of them.
It took us complaining three times about the room noise to be moved to another room.
Unfortunately the room we were moved to (20th floor) also had a lot of noise which we guess was from the elevators. It sounded like knocking on the roof constantly.
When paying quite a bit of money for a room you do expect a decent nights sleep so it was disappointing that this wasn't the case for us.
Overall we did have a good stay and if you aren't a light sleeper it's a good hotel choice.
