This is an older property that needs updating. Although the bed had 2 valleys in it, surprisingly was quite comfortable to sleep on. The couch was old, dated, and hard to sit on. The location is amazing though. 1/2 a block from Kuhio and less than 3 blocks to Waikiki Beach. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

It is the landlord special. Paint chipping, shower either boiling hot or ice cold. When you finally get the right temperature it chsnges constantly. The wallpaper is peeling off the hallways and it is kinda dingy. Bed was clean and bathroom was clean. Kinda the Motel 6 of Hawaii

Staff was excellent! The hotel really is not bad for the price, compared to the price of other hotels around. It was clean and pleasant too. Furniture is just a bit outdated and not in tiptop shape.

Fair price, great staff and easy to get to with a bus stop around the corner. Getting there from the airport? Go to the departure level at airport. In front on the street is an island for Ubers and such, as well as the NUMBER 20 city bus. $3 per person will bring you right into Waikiki. Forget the expensive Ubers.

Our bed had a big dent on one side of mattress. Our room had to changed became of it, after having to prove it to the manager. Then our room wasn't cleaned until the 3rd day or so, after having to call and request it. There is no dinning there. No hot tub as advertised. And pillows were very stiff. Otherwise, there is a grill by the pool you can use to cook.

Hotel is very comfortable and well maintained. My only other observation was that parking charge was $40 a night which is well above the norm. They also charge a resort fee of $40 which basically doesn't include anything other than the use of the pool. Otherwise outside of these overpriced charges I was pleased with the hotel.

We see you had difficulties with parking, you mention that Waikiki is notorious for the lack of public parking spaces, It is fair that is pretty much any major city either lack of parking or you will have to pay a lot for parking space. While many of our neighboring renovated buildings have added more parking spaces, we are an older building with limited parking spaces. We are working with our neighboring properties for overflow parking because we know that this can be an issue at times, but we are still happy to have an option for those that choose to rent a car. We appreciate your feedback because you will probably help another guest chose to rent a car or take advantage of our public transportation. Mahalo.

Stayed here for my first ever Hawaii trip. Great budget hotel, a bit dated but otherwise great! I loved my little room for my solo trip. Area around is amazing, you're 7 min walk from beach.

The room we booked was listed being able to sleep 4 It had a double bed and a very small foton We had booked for 3 people and had to request for a bed to be brought up as there was only the double when we arrived No blockout blinds as listed so be prepared to be woken with the sun and for your neighbours to see in Ok for the price we paid and we didn't expect much For us it was a place to sleep so served it's purpose

Had a great stay at this Hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the open air design of the lobby. My only concern was the cleanliness of the room. It was not terrible or anything, just a lot of small things and harder to reach places that were obviously not getting cleaned. Also I found a half full 1 liter water bottle between the headboard and the wall. which was not a good sign as it was easily seen or felt if one was say, making the bed.

If I can deter one person from this property I would have done a success. The cost of this place is not worth it. When we got there and got ready for bed and opened the sofa bed, the sheets had dirt on it and stains on the sheets. There was hair in the shower. When I called about the sheets they came and brought new sheets. They did not offer to do their job and replace the sheets. They expected us to change the dirty sheets our selves. As soon as I open the door they handed me the sheets and turn around and walked away. Not a sorry or help to change them. Please GO SOME WHERE ELSE!!

Aqua Aloha is a great place to stay if your on a budget. All the basic amenities you need with affordable rooms. Went in expecting normal quality rooms with dated features. And that is exactly what we got and we were okay with that.Again I can't stress the affordability of this hotel. We spent most of our time out and about and came back to sleep. The only gripes we had was the cleanliness. The bathroom door was broken and shower had rust. In my opinion the worse thing I noticed was a couple of small cockroaches which we easily killed. However, other then that great stay.

they took my entire $100 deposit because i asked for late check-in which seems a bit unjustified, just money hungry. stayed for one night, the room was okay but still had to pay for parking on site which sucks too.

Only issue with this hotel is the parking, i paid to park my truck for 200 dollars to park in the garage. And the entrance height is only 6' no trucks or suvs can park in the garage

Overall, this is a great value for your money. Affordable, clean, friendly staff, on site parking and close to everything in Waikiki, including the beach. We were on the 12th floor so I feel it was quiet for that reason. It may have been louder from outside traffic the closer to the ground you are but can’t say for sure. I read lots of reports of bed bugs in Honolulu but we didn’t find any and they even had pest control come in between our stay there just in case which I felt was good. I personally slept on the pull out couch and gave the bed to my parents. The only negative thing I could really say about this hotel is the pull out bed was very uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. But besides that small detail, it was a great stay and would absolutely come back and recommend this hotel.

First time staying at this hotel after booking it and realized it was the wrong hotel. I kept the reservation anyways and was happy with the outcome. The staff was fast and efficient and check in couldn't have gone any smoother. Will recommend and would definitely stay here again,
