"I needed a place to stay with my 3 pets. It rained a lot (4 inches) during those days so the fenced yard was much appreciated. The house is spacious and was very clean. The couches and beds were very comfortable. But the house is showing its age and could use a little TLC. The lighting is insufficient IMO - especially on dark rainy days. There was no way to make ice. No blackout curtains. Cracked floor tiles and there is no decor to speak of. The neighborhood seems safe and is very...

Top Hondo Hotel Reviews

Best Western SeaWorld San Antonio

10/10 Excellent

"Rooms kept tidy and clean. They also had breakfast and I woke up extra early so I was really glad it starts at 6-9am <3 room kept cool. staff were super nice and welcoming during my stay. Will be coming back for next visits in San Antonio!!"

Hyatt Vacation Club at Wild Oak Ranch, San Antonio

8/10 Good

"Staff upon check in was super nice, I believe his name was Alexander. Great recommendations on what to do and where to go for my parent’s wedding anniversary. We were supposed to have a surprise for my parent’s anniversary set up in the room but the staff never went in and set it up. We were disappointed with that. The rooms were great though, kitchen, restrooms all were perfect. My parents really enjoyed it as well. The rain unfortunately didn’t let us partake in a lot of the outdoor activities. I hope we get to visit again."

Hondo Inn

8/10 Good

"This is an old Best Western which is in decent shape. The reception area has a beautiful stairway. Bed was comfortable but pillows were awful. A/C worked well which is important in Texas. The vending machine on the 3rd floor had 2 items in it. Not choices. Items. The room was good sized but there was only 1 place to sit. It was the desk chair. Not a lot of choices in Hondo so we will most likely stay there again."

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Antonio Lackland AFB - SeaWorld Area

10/10 Excellent

"The is a great option for those families coming in for graduations at Lackland. It’s not the fanciest hotel but it is the most convenient and the closest to the Luke gate in the morning. Rooms were nice, clean and staff was great. The front desk staff was incredible and made us feel so welcomed. There is a really cool American flag set up and backdrop just for Air Force families to take pictures!! They have graduate murals and sign up boards on the wall in the main hall too which was very special to look through. You can tell they take pride in being a sponsor hotel."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Northwest

8/10 Good

"nice place for short stays, guy at front desk was very helpful when our keycards kept getting shut off for some reason. room was clean. only downside was that the water got shut off for about an hour one day but all was good after that."
