Wolff Heim - Historic Country Home in D'Hanis

Enjoy the peace and quiet of country living in this fully renovated 3BR/3.5BA historic rock home originally built in the 1880s. The living room features plenty of seating with a separate area for games/puzzles. 16 inch rock walls separate the kitchen which has modern touches and a special coffee station as well as a washer/dryer area. A large sun room at the back has an 8 ft. table made from old beams from the house. There's also a day bed and a half bath. The downstairs bedroom contains a king size bed with its own bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, and a balcony with a view and a breeze. Kids can explore the house and find a few surprise "cubbies" just right for some reading time or a good nap. The house is situated with numerous vacation sites in any direction including Concan and the Frio River, Garner Park, Sea World and Fiesta Texas. Come and take a step back in time...

Parents homecoming.

Me and my wife have been traveling all year and this has been hands down the best stay. My parents and bothers were equally impressed. We were so relaxed and comfortable, everything you needed was available. Hopefully we can visit again next year and stay longer next time.

Great accommodations

Brought a group of employees in for a late season last minute dove hunting trip. The host was easy to communicate with and the home was easy to find. They actually had the place ready early and allowed us grace with a later than expected checkout due to some unforeseen circumstances. Highly recommend and will be looking at booking again in the future.

Beautiful and Comfortable

Enjoyed the October eclipse weekend at Wolff Heim. The home is beautifully remodeled to embrace the historical features while still benefiting from modern features. All bedrooms are en suite so very comfortable and private.Would definitely stay there again. Thank you for sharing our fabulous home with us!

Bridal party get ready home!!

First off, this home is beautiful. It is by far the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The history is so interesting and was brought to life throughout the home. This was the home the girls and myself got ready for our wedding. There was 11 women and 2 girls that took advantage of the beautiful home to get ready in. There was plenty of room for everyone!

Perfect cousins reunion.

The house was absolutely perfect and everyone was so impressed. We had everything we needed and we were all very comfortable. There were 9 of us who stayed in the house, but we had more family over for dinner one night. There was plenty of room and the house was perfect for entertaining. Lisa was also the perfect host. We will definitely be back!

Family/Eclipse

The house was great for having family time and also provided space for everyone to have a place of their own . Everything we needed was there, the beds were comfortable, and the host was accommodating. We traveled to the Texas Hill Country Natural Area to see the eclipse, it was only about 40 minutes from the house and had very nice trails. We hiked the Twin Peaks trail up to the viewpoint to watch the eclipse, it was a nice hike and had an awesome view. We also saw the old church ruins and had a peak at the old historic town. All recommend. This beautiful and historic house is a must stay if you find yourself in D’Hanis.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

This house is a spectacular rental! From the views from the porches, to the history of the house and family, to the comfy spaces and impeccable design touches, to the well stocked and organized kitchen... the list goes on and on. You can sense the love and attention that went into restoring and putting this home back together. Lisa was a great host and available for any questions. The check in and check out processes were seamless. It is perfectly suited for a family gathering with private spaces for everyone. The kids and grown ups, alike, enjoyed wandering the pasture in the evening to see the deer run and the cows come up. We were passing through town on our way home from a week long trip, so we only stayed one night. Big mistake. We all wanted to stay longer in the peace and quiet of little D'Hanis, Tx. We will definitely be back!
