"Disappointing Service and Technical Issues We had a frustrating experience during our recent stay. Upon arrival, we discovered that none of the power outlets in our room were functioning. This meant we were unable to charge our devices, use the lamps, or even make a cup of tea or coffee. We arrived around 9:30 PM, and while we understood that reception was closed for the night, we attempted to call the provided emergency contact number several times. Unfortunately, no one answered. The following morning, we explained the situation to a member of the cleaning staff. She was incredibly apologetic and kind; she even took our kettle to the main hotel building to boil it for us so we could have a hot drink, which we truly appreciated. However, our experience with management was less than satisfactory. We encountered the manager, and despite it being obvious that he was aware of the electrical issues, he offered no apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. It was clear that this was a pre-existing problem, as we noticed other guests had extension cables running from their bedrooms to external power sources. While the room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable, the property feels dated and is in need of some TLC. If management had simply acknowledged the issue and communicated with us, we would have been far more understanding. Given the price and the lack of professional service, I believe there are better accommodation options in the area."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kingfisher Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting.From the moment we arrived, Janet and Mark made us feel so welcome. They were so friendly and kindly showed us around the cottage and facilities, which was such a lovely personal touch. The welcome pack for us and our dogs was incredibly thoughtful, and the fresh flowers were a beautiful touch that made the cottage feel so inviting.The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. It genuinely felt like a home from home — comfortable, cosy, and very well equipped.The location is stunning, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The two enclosed dog fields were absolutely perfect for us and a huge bonus, as our dogs loved having the space to run around safely.Janet and Mark were fantastic hosts throughout and so welcoming, even when we had a little mishap with the key!We loved every minute of our stay, and our dogs did too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kingfisher Cottage and will definitely be returning."

"Happy to have found the Orient B&B for my one night stay in Holyhead, Wales. The manager was very welcoming and informative which made my stay very enjoyable. My single bed room was very clean and functional. The mattress was firm which I prefer. The room had several tall windows with adjustable shutters. There was plenty of space to hang clothes and a large desk. The bathroom was clean. The showerhead had plenty of pressure and the water heated up quickly. Also the bathroom supplied a "vanity box" which included q-tips, make-up remover pads and a mini-nail file. This box may seem like a small thing but that nail file was exactly what I needed that day. After 3 weeks of traveling, the Orient B&B was the first place I stayed in which the WiFi had a strong security rating which was very appreciated. Thank you for the added protection. Finally, and very importantly, the dinner menu selection is very good and the portions are very large. I had the prawn salad which was fabulous! Be sure to add a bottle of a local brewery's kelp ale if you enjoy trying different beer. It was quite good! I would recommend the Orient B&B to friends and family who appreciate a reasonably priced nice, not fancy, establishment with very tasty food and friendly management. "Cramped room with too much furniture (would have been better as a double bed than 2 singles. No hot water, pity because shower room was good 2 tvs for some reason, only small one worked. Owner said it was quirky and he was right. However, it was cheap so alright for 1 night."
