"The room was clean and relatively quiet for a full hotel. There are few amenities such as no tissues supplied in room, dog bag dispensers empty in exercise area. Room didn't come with fridge"

"Upon arrival I was informed that the room was not yet ready. It was past their posted check in time. The staff said to give them 30-40 minutes. Ok fine I left came back an hour later and the staff said again that they don’t think the room is ready. He tried calling the maids and they didn’t answer. He tells me to come back in an hour. By this point I am over it. I just travelled 4 hrs with 2 young kids one with severe special needs so I ask him if there is a place I can change my child so we can just wait in my car and I don’t have to drive them somewhere else to wait. I get the kids changed and as I’m coming out of the bathroom he says oh by the way the room is ready. I was so beyond irritated at this point I was just happy to finally be in the room. The room was actually a great set up for a family. The only downside was no bath tub. It’s in a great location close to stores, food and beach dunes. My only advice is arrive a couple hours after check in time."

"This was an okay hotel. It really needs to be updated quite a bit. The breakfast provided was okay, not much to it. It does have easy access to the beach."

"I had taken a personal trip to wine country for some fresh air, but the hotel I originally chose fell well short of expectations. On my way back to Pasadena, I came across this property—and it completely turned the experience around. If you’re looking for a peaceful setting, clean air, and a genuinely welcoming, professional staff, I recommend this place without hesitation."

"Stayed for a night at the last minute. The room was well laid out for our family of 4. Although we didn’t have a pet with us, it really is a dogs dream stay. Stayed with a 15 yo and a 5 yo and they were both very impressed by the location & amenities. The robes, binoculars, and kettle were a great addition. I would possibly suggest some slippers to go with the robes! The bar tender and chiefs were very personable. They even suggested a gym out 15 yo could use for the day since there were none on the property."
