"We celebrated a family member’s birthday by having 9 of us gather in the mountains for a phenomenal weekend. The house is as described - spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The views of Sapphire Valley were amazing especially with us catching the tail end of the fall leaves - the colors were vibrant. During the days, we took in a fantastic hike at Rainbow Falls and spent time in both Chashiers and the Highlands. One other important item was how easy it was to access the property. The neighborhood had wide two-lane streets and the driveway for the house was mostly flat. This house has it all - comfortable living for 9, great views, and perfectly located for nearby hiking and shopping. We will certainly look to book this property again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this mountain home. It's a beautiful home and extremely well stocked with supplies. The yard is very spacious and the trail down to the river is great hike for all family members. Our dog especially enjoyed it. You could not ask for a better host than Todd. We had just a couple questions for him and his responses were instantaneous and helpful. "

"We enjoyed an excellent weekend Mountain getaway here. The property has panoramic views from all sides, is clean, and well equipped. Will definitely be returning again the next time we head to the Sapphire/Cashiers area. "

"Adorable cabin. The cabin was very clean. Host was a pleasure to work with. Little touches, like the light switch covers with a mountain theme and all the dishes with an autumn theme. My grandson counted all the pigs (hogs – for hog court). The beds were comfy. We cooked dinner at the cabin the 3 nights we were there. We spent time at the recreation center every evening/afternoon in the hot tub and pool. Note: you must arrive at the community center to get your passes before 5PM. We arrived after dinner and after a lot of running around we were finally able to use the facilities the first night. Another note: children under 14 are not allowed in the hot tub. We arrived at the cabin on a Saturday and enjoyed the screened in porch. The view and the feel of the backyard was amazing. The cabin is a perfect location for waterfall viewing. On Sunday, we visited Rainbow Falls, White Water falls and Silver Run falls. On Monday, the weather changed abruptly. We drove to more waterfalls: Cullasaja, Quarry, Bridal Veil and Dry. Lunch that day was highlands Smoke House. Awesome good BBQ. It was time to go home. We drove to Toxaway falls and looking glass falls on the way home and drove through Pisgah Forest via 276/151, beautiful drive. It was a winter wonderland. Overall, fantastic trip and we highly recommend the cabin for your mountain trip. "
