"It was fine. It wasn’t anything special though. Rooms are quite small and a bit dated. Linens were clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Almost zero outlets for charging phones etc. Dining area seemed nice. There are very few options in the area so I think it’s probably a good option if you need to stay right outside Höfn for one night. "

"Guesthouse Lilja was comfortable and conveniently located for our visit to Hofn and the surrounding areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and included in the price. We would definitely stay again!"

"Clean and spacious rooms with large ensuite. Shared communal kitchen and other areas were well stocked and tidy. We appreciated the complimentary cereal, yoghurt, tea, coffee etc. as it made our morning that much easier ahead of a big day of driving! Would happily recommend this accommodation!"
