Now called Old Town and not Kastali, I found the hostel to be in a great location, quiet despite the being well occupied, the rooms fine, and the bathrooms kept clean the entire time I was there. Pretty nice, actually.

Spacious room, centrally located in downtown Reykjavik. Friendly, helpful staff.

We have no complaints. The hotel is in the middle of town with numerous places to eat, things to do, and even the Corner Market grocery store. It is only a couple of blocks from Bus Stop #6. Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

We absolutely loved this apartment. Good size of apartment with kitchen, free laundry and dryer at ground floor. It allowed us cook and wash our clothes. It located right in the town centre of Rej

The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were cute and cozy with private bathrooms and good heating. The breakfast was nice to have, especially in an expensive city that opens late. The 24 hour access to coffee tea and hot chocolate in the lobby was really comforting to have, especially with jetlag and being awake at odd hours. The location and the hotel felt safe. The only potential downside is that the hotel is on a main street so people walking by constantly are noisy but that didn't bother me.
