"I was very pleased with my stay at Fred's Inn. Our room was clean, quite, and cozy. There was plenty of parking. The food was delicious. The staff at the bar / restaurant were friendly and helpful (we checked in and out with the bartender). This place is truly a hidden gem. "

"Rented 2 rooms for a 3 day stay. One room was missing a trash can, the microwave that was stated in the description that came with the room, and a towel bar near the tub. It wasn't a big deal, the other room we rented had all of these, so we shared a microwave and hung the towels on the hook on the bathroom door. "This was a getaway that was planned for seeing Cooperstown and all that the little town had to offer. The August Lodge is amazing and made this trip so much more than we could ever ask for. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home every day. The views were spectacular and we spent our evenings on our patio watching the eagles soar around the mountains.
