"We loved our stay. The room was bright and clean and we had a great view of the mountains in the back and of the farm animals. Elisabeth was a great host and the breakfast provided was so good. We enjoyed our chats with Elisabeth. I would highly recommend the guesthouse!"

"Room and bathroom good but fighting seagulls at 2 am in the back alley was very unpleasant.
Also no kitchen facilities - essential if you call yourself a hostel and showers in the basement through the pub no great situation.
Fun place, nice atmosphere and great pub in the middle of it all. "

"The parking is paid parking between 10 am -4pm in front of the hotel. There were vegetarian and gluten-free options (great gluten-free bread) for breakfast. It was very easy to walk around and see the sites in Akureyri. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. "
"Beautiful 2 night stay at the Historical house for our family of four. Conveniently located in a charming setting with walkable surroundings. Good option as home base for day trip to Húsavík just an hour away. Was spacious and had everything we needed. Also close to delicious Brynja ice cream shop!"
"This was a real treat and was like a mini vacation within our vacation. The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed."

I did not like the pool table. It creates a loud noise. It is difficult to rest after a long day of hiking or traveling. IMO"

I would like to commend a few exceptional team members. Ana at the concierge was incredibly helpful in recommending a fantastic local restaurant and provided impeccable service during breakfast on August 23.
The cleanliness and comfort of our room were also outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking city view from our window as well as the meticulous care provided by the housekeeping staff.
