"We wanted to stay somewhere different than corporate hotel (shop local), and this was a great choice. We didn’t need a lot of amenities; just a comfortable bed and a clean modern bathroom. Contactless check-in was a breeze and I think we were the only people there that night, so it was nice and quiet. My only complaint is that nobody made a pot of coffee in the lounge the next morning. Other than that, 5 stars"

"The location of the house was very convenient for our planned activities and we had plenty of space to spread out in the house. It is right on a main road so there is some road noise from traffic. A white noise machine took care of that. The lake was a bit further from the house than we had expected but a short walk through the massive yard. The cove where the dock is, is very shallow and full of weeds so fishing was not really an option. They have a nice screened-in patio behind the house with a charcoal grill to cook on. The beds were comfortable. Our main issue was the house needs a deep cleaning. It's a nice place with plenty of room for a large group but could use more than a sweep and wipe down. Hosts responded quickly when contacted."

"Property is even better in person. First walked into the house and it smelled nice and clean. Feels like you're underneath a rainforest canopy. We enjoyed sitting in the screened-in back porch especially at night when it's cooler and you can hear the relaxing sound of the creek running. It has a wonderful path down to the creek, with a garden. Because of the location, we did run into a snake just once on the pathway down to the creek and there could be animals going through the trash at night. We used the kitchen quite a bit and they had everything you need, including a nice Weber grill on the back porch. We are hot sleepers and couldn't get the thermometer below 70, but it actually would have been cooler if we opened the windows at night. Driveway is steep if you're not used to it. There is a Walmart and some fast food places a few miles away. Host was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! This is such a neat place and won't disappoint. We plan on staying here again."
