"The hotel has great ammenities and the room service options have a ton of variety. It was nice having a massage chair and jacuzzi tub in the room. It was the largest room my husband and I stayed in throughout our travels in Japan as well."

"The Onsen at this hotel is its main specialty feature. It is really relaxing to go at the Onsen post your tourist sightseeing day of Kyoto. The hotel is very clean and much bigger than other hotels in Japan"
"Convenient location adjacent train station, staff were friendly and some spoke English, room was nice and comfortable, unfortunately TV was old and unable to connect to latest version IPhone and IPad and no English movie or TV. Requires update. "
"The hotel is very nice and the staff is attentive and nice. The rooms are clean and bright. Everyone on staff greets you as you pass them. If you have any questions they are there to assist. I had a very good stay. The only advice I have is if to make dinner plans ahead of time because some places close early or fill up quickly and you don’t want to scramble to find dinner. "
"We were so impressed and grateful for this hotel! It’s honestly perfect in every way. From quiet and spacious rooms, incredible ambiance, impeccable cleanliness, delicious food, every convenience for our stay, and a short walk to everything in Gion as well as the train. The shower and bath is something we will miss (until we renovate our home to match!). I couldn’t recommend this place more. "
