We rode from Onomichi almost all the way to Imabari, then turned around and rode to Wakka, getting there by 4 pm (good decision because it started to sprinkle rain.) We did not need to use the shared shower because of the (included) entry to the nearby onsen which was full of only local families, so a truly authentic experience. And getting up at night to use the bathroom nearby was actually not a problem either."
