"This is a wonderful lil piece of heaven under the stars tucked up a lil Hollar road. Decor was new and very nice. Everyone was friendly and very nice to help anyway. "We loved the location. The only bad thing was the driveway was too steep to park on so you have to park at the bottom and carry everything up when you get there and down when you leave. The house was great and the views are even better."

"Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

"The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. Completely unacceptable. Reached out to owner and her response was that she cleaned it when she was there. Some areas...

"We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!"
