"This cabin is perfect. The furnishing are very clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well appointed. The best part is the covered porch overlooking the Greenbrier River with comfy wicker chairs and rocker. We spent many hours watching the river flow, reading, and knitting, and listening to all the birds. Even saw a deer walk along the river edge. This is a great location for exploring the rivers in the area, with good access to the New River Gorge National Park and Pipestem Resort State Park. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! And we will recommend it to friends."

"The main purpose of making a reservation is to get a good nights sleep. For whatever reason the beds provided and excellent nights sleep for both my wife and myself. There were some relatively minor issues, lights not working properly when first tried (not sure why they eventually started working properly - but they did). Starting the TV (and switching stations) was very frustrating. Took awhile to ‘learn the ropes’ via trial and error - but eventually we were able to locate channels we wanted to watch. Staff were very cheerful and helpful - five stars for their efforts!! Although not perfect - the price was right. We’ll return for another try subsequently."

"Fine for a night or 2. Room needs some attention but was clean (plumbing and flooring rough.). Staff were friendly, onsite restaurant was good. Parking lot is in horrible shape if that matters to you. Potholes everywhere-some patched, but it needs a complete repave."

"For the price it was a great value. The hallway did have a slight smoky smell, but the room was okay. The room was clean, the bed was okay too. Sure the outside and entrance had seen better days. But again it was a place to sleep, and it was comfortable."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin hosted by Evan! Communication was fast and easy when we had questions, the place was clean and cozy. We loved the small homey touches like fresh flowers on the kitchen table and there were fresh sunflowers surrounding the house along with some other beautiful flowers and the giant magnolia tree! The yard is nice and big and flat, perfect for our fur babies! I would recommend keeping them on leads at all times, even if they have good recall, as the house is right off the road. The driveway is easy to miss, but Evan helped out with that with a flag so you don't miss it! They provide all linens and towels and everything was fresh and clean, we used our own bed linens at the request of the host since our pups sleep with us. They had full size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in case you forget yours and also a hair dryer and there were spare toothbrushes as well while we were there. The kitchen is fully equipped and they do ask since they are on a well to conserve water as much as possible, so no dishwasher for those wanting one. There is a Primo water tank for fresh drinking water, all utensils, including some disposable ones, everything you need to cook! Across the road there are stairs that lead to the river flat where there are chairs and a fireplace for you to enjoy the new river. Be careful as the steps are steep and the hand rail is wobbly! We loved this place so much and are already planning another trip! 10 outta 10!!!!"
