This was a great cabin exactly what we needed. Comfort was perfection, fire ring was used nightly. We were able to have float evenings with kayaks and took an adventure day Friday from Pipestem up to Sandstone falls
Driving to the property absolutely beautiful, we arrived the cabin was just what we needed not to much but just enough. It was spotless, well organized and the view was perfect.
A group of us stayed here for the color the river event & this place was great! Clean with great amenities and the host was awesome! Right on the river with a great covered porch area! Plenty of parking and a great outdoor area. Highly recommend!
Everything was clean and ready for our stay. Walk out on the back patio and have your morning coffee. You will not be disappointed. Quite, comfortable. Great place to rest your brain.
Our family of four (two adults and two children) loved this property for our 3 days in West Virginia. It was clean, QUIET, and the kids absolutely loved playing in the river which was just in the backyard. We enjoyed making smores around the fire pit in the evenings, and ventured out to Pipestem (less than 40 minutes away), Sandstone (30 minutes away) and the New River Gorge National Park bridge (90 minutes away). We would absolutely stay here again!
Location on River, takes some effort to get to it with Kayaks but so worth it. Back porch has a rocker and we sat out there each morning and after our fire in the evening. Had everything we wanted. Only 2 negatives - smell of water stinks up the house a bit and neighbor house extremely run down. But not game changers and will be going back again.
Hinton Head is a wonderful place with great hosts! A great location - kind of in the middle of many things to do and see in this area of WV - but even better because it is right on the river. We hung out at the cabin, kayaked, fished, and swam and could take advantage of all this area has to offer - the River Gorge National Park and so many state parks close by. This is a beautiful area with a lot of fun outdoor activities.
The cabin is lovely and has everything you need for a great stay - including kayaks for hanging on the river. It is decorated so nicely and the beds are super comfortable. Everything was very clean.
The hosts were in town while we were there and they were so helpful and nice people.
Bring water shoes, flashlights/lanterns, maybe a couple of extra chairs for the fire pit, beach towels, charcoal- but everything else you need is there.
It is a great place. We plan to come back!
We had the best stay! Hinton Head cabin had everything we were looking for and more. The owners were easy to communicate with! We loved our time there!!!
Home was cozy and welcoming! It was a perfect get away for me and my two teen boys! We were really turned off by the smell of the water, I would definitely suggest getting it corrected!
We absolutely fell in love with this place! It’s perfect! If you’re looking for a clean, new construction, look no further. This place is immaculate! Ms. Tammy is wonderful as well, very informative and quick to respond. We will most definitely be back and we highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice getaway in wild wonderful West Virginia!
We had the most amazing time! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The most beautiful area and a walk right to the river! Our children swam and went fishing the entire time! We can’t wait to stay again!
This was such a wonderful home for a few days with the family. All the water toys were definitely a bonus for us. Games came into play while it rained so that was very thoughtful. Everything was clean and stocked with everything we needed to cook meals with. The water was perfect but I would definitely wear water shoes as the rocks are a bit much for barefoot.
