"We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again."

Staff were very friendly accommodating & helpful. Breakfast was included freshly cooked with good range of choices. Evening meal also very nice, good range, freshly cooked & reasonably priced although did take quite a while to arrive but was worth it. "This hotel and bar is in a great location with lots of parking spaces. We had a twin room, it was very clean and spacious and well equipped with a TV, kettle, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Good tea tray which was restocked for our 2nd nights stay. Comfortable beds and peaceful nights sleep. The staff are friendly and breakfast was fairly good. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent value."
