"Best barn conversion we have stayed in. Photos on Bolt Hole Retreats web site do not do the barn justice. There is a definite WOW when you walk through the door. The barn has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday, even the things you didn't know you needed. The view from any upstairs window over the fields is fantastic. There are 2 local pubs within walking distance, The Fish at Wixford and the Tavern at Broom. Both highly recommended, especially as two of our party have Coeliac Disease. Wayne & Will came to our rescue with an internet problem, which was quickly sorted out. Internet is over 4G link so speed is limited. The decking around around the hot tub is in need of repair which is being planned, this didn't cause us any issues. The hot tub is fully sunken into the deck which can make it a bit difficult for some people to get in and out of. The official route to the barn is down a farm track, which is uneven and pot holed with large sharp stones, so leave the sports cars behind. To be fair there is a sign saying the road is a farm track but we don't think anything was mentioned beforehand. (ask Wayne about the alternative route past the castle). There is plenty of useful information on Bolt Hole Retreat web site, thankfully we had downloaded this to a device before leaving home as there in not much information in the on site welcome pack. The information in the on site pack is in need of review and updating. Some of the information is out of date, for example a local pub having been closed for quite some time, whilst some is just wrong, for example the Sonos system doesn't work with the TV any more and you need a Sonos account to make it work. All in all we had a fantastic relaxing family holiday."

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Ridgeway Farmhouse and this is our 2nd stay. The view is stunning and the decoration within the house is lovely, making our stay very comfortable. Pros Great location Wonderful view Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and excellent feeling of space both inside and outside the property Hot tub is great but it does take a few goes to work out just how many logs it requires to find the right temperature of the water Perfect for a multigenerational family gathering given the scale and space Cons The hedge needs a good trim, when you are sitting on the terrace or at the outside dining area the view is badly obstructed by the hedge, this was the same when we came last time The outside of the house looks tired, with the balcony area looking particularly rustic We loved our first stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our second stay and will be back again."

"Arrow Lodge exceeded all my expectations! And it's much bigger than expected, both inside and out. Just a long weekend stay but from my initial enquiry to departure everyone was so helpful. The garden was fantastic. We (me plus woof) found it fully enclosed which was great. And the glorious weather was a bonus. The huge bed was super comfy, lovely shower room and kitchen which had everything we needed. And the living room is so cute and cozy. The busy festival weekend suited us and we met some lovely locals and event staff too. I didn't want the weekend to end and look forward to returning."
