"Everything about the Athens gate hotel was great! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy walk to plaka, the acropolis, all types of food, the city for buses stop very close. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. Room 501 has perfect view of the temple of Zeus and from the corner of the balcony you can see the Parthenon too. I don't think I'd ever want to stay anyplace else. The only minor thing is few power receptacles and none are dual voltage, only European plugs and none in the bathroom. The balcony door really blocks the traffic noise well. Can't recommend highly enough!"
"This hotel was impressive - very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, jaw-dropping view from the roof, and amazing breakfast buffet. Located close to the pedestrian walking areas for shopping and restaurants/cafes and easy walking distance to the must sees of Athens downtown"
"Loved, loved, loved this hotel. The room was fantastic. Super clean. Loved the morning breakfast. In the perfect location. Central to everything via walking (except airport and cruise port). I would without hesitation stay here again. The staff was super friendly. And the icing on the cake was the amazing view of The Acropolis from the rooftop bar!"
