Lovely Stay

Peaceful Cabin House

With a busy wedding weekend schedule, it was nice to come back to the cute and peaceful cabin home to relax. While it was in a neighborhood, we had the feeling we were in a secluded area as we sat out in the screened-in porch in front of the fireplace. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Such a nice cabin!

It's a wonderful place to visit. A very eclectic cabin set in the woods, it has a fully equipped kitchen (appliances, pans, utensils, spices... the works!). 4 adults with plenty of room. We certainly enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with the fireplace going. Highly recommended.

Mountains with my Valentine

Little Pine House is everything we expected it to be. Actually, this was our second Valentine stay and one again we appreciated the hospitality. Neely and Jennings are great hosts

Relaxing stay!

Very cozy house making it easy to relax and unwind. Although the weather was mostly wet and rainy the house was so comfortable and inviting with the fireplace on porch and the games in the cabinet. We caught up on some Christmas movies and enjoyed cooking a nice meal in the well equipped kitchen.

Great mountain retreat

We loved this adorable mountain cottage. It had everything that you could want. Very well decorated and private. The owners did a great job having all the extra touches for our stay. We lived on the screened in porch enjoying the fires. We will return!

Quaint Cottage close to Highlands

The cottage is very clean and well appointed. Owners supplied just about everything you need for a nice weekend getaway with friends. Really appreciated the fully stocked coffee bar, lots of firewood to burn and cleanliness of house. We will definitely rent again.

Best Mtn house we’ve been to

Close to DT Highlands, this house is great. The owners definitely extend themselves to make sure you have a great time. Wonderful house with 3 bedrooms. Spacious and great indoor/outdoor patio area with fireplace. We will be back! Great spot.

Peaceful Getaway

My wife and I love Highlands and the surrounding area. By the end of August, we have had all the summer heat we can stand. This cabin was the medicine we needed! It is beautiful, well appointed, not too far from town. The weather was perfect. A couple of days of soft rain made the screened in patio feel like a piece of heaven. We'll be back!

Get away from it all without being too far from town!

This mountain home is the perfect place to unplug. We lived on the screened porch enjoying movies and a fire - we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and found the beds comfortable. The decor is beautiful and the home is very well kept. The neighborhood and quiet and peaceful, but stores and restaurants are a quick drive away. There is a hiking trail right near the home. We'd definitely return!

Peaceful

Nice place, up the mountain, surrounded by quiet and green. Enjoyed the porch in the morning and evening and the outside wood fireplace with a full stack of wood and large screen TV, even a small drink cooler. Inside the gas fireplace and large screen TV was great. Had a fantastic coffee bar and everything you might need in the kitchen.

Gathering of friends

This cabin was a fabulous rental. It is in a beautiful neighborhood that is walkable and very quiet. The cabin was so comfortable and the screened porch with the fireplace was extremely relaxing. The attention to details of what you would need was superb. The kitchen had everything you could need. The beverage station was a plus. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Excellent Cabin In Highlands

The Little Pine Cabin was perfect in every way. It is in a wonderful location; easy drive only a short distance from downtown Highlands. Prior to our stay the hosts were in touch on more than one occasion with suggestions for restaurants and places of interest. We couldn't have asked for better communication from them. The cabin has every amenity with a special coffee bar, fully stocked, along with a welcome bottle of wine. It was a special experience with all that this home offered. We will definitely return. Many thanks to our host for making this visit memorable!

Magical Getaway!

Hard to know where to start! We had the BEST time here for a quick little family getaway after Thanksgiving. Our kids loved the hammocks and outdoor fire pit area. The house is well equipped with everything you might need. So many thoughtful little touches throughout the house that show how much the owners care about your stay! I'm so sad to leave! We will definitely come back.

Convenient lovely Mountain Cottage

Loved our stay at the Pine Cottage. The location was excellent and close to Highlands. Our hosts, Neeley, and Jennings were very easy to work with and have provided everything you could possible need and then some. We loved the quiet neighborhood and there is ample parking which is not always easy to find in a mountain rental. The only suggestion I would make is to have the house cleaners to vacuum under the tables and chairs. Other than that the cabin was very clean.

A slice of heaven

The cabin was spectacular, from the decor, to all the extra special touches. We felt right at home from the minute we opened the door. We spent a lot of our time on the back porch, watching TV and enjoying the warm fire place. Then retiring to the cozy living room for a movie and dinner. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we would need. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Birthday Weekend at the Little Pine House

Everything about our stay was simply perfect. From the ease of booking and the communication with Neely and Jennings before and during our trip. They are the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to make my birthday special. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch. All the little touches make you feel like you are staying at a friend's home rather than a rental. The cabin is so cozy and there are lots of places to hang out. The furniture and beds are comfortable, and everyone slept well during our trip. We enjoyed the coffee bar, beverage fridge and the luxury soaps in the bathrooms. We are already talking about coming back for a longer trip.

The best!

This is simply the best. It’s beautiful and comfortable and includes everything you could possibly need. The setting is just lovely and the neighborhood is special. But what sets this apart from others are the hosts. They are exceptional. Kind and thoughtful and generous. They were so understanding when s hurricane delayed us. The coziest cabin!!

This was our second stay in this cozy cabin. WE LOVE IT! The hospitality from the owners is unmatched!!! They are available for anything you might need. The fireplace on the screen porch is our favorite! The home has a cozy cabin feel with a beautiful updated kitchen! The house is stocked with all the essentials. Which is such a treat and so nice. The property is in the most quiet and quaint neighborhood convenient to all the mountain towns. We will be back soon!!!

Cozy, Comfortable, and Safe!

I was visiting Highlands as the Hurricane approached and needed to wait it out in the house. We lost power but with fireplace (wood provided) and abundance of lanterns, batteries and candles was able to manage fine. I felt safe and secure in this home and glad it survived without any damage I could see— except tree damage. The owners were very helpful and worked with me to arrive early and depart when I could to avoid the worst. They also provided drinks in a small refrigerator that I appreciated during the blackout. I do hope to return to this sweet home. The neighborhood is very friendly and all helped each other during the storm.

Perfect in Every Way

This little cottage was absolutely amazing! It was cozy, inviting, incredibly clean and I can’t begin to describe how well amenitized this home was. We planned to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner here, and normally that means packing your entire kitchen to do so. This lovely little cottage had literally everything we needed. On top of that, there is a beautifully stocked coffee bar and a lovely bottle of welcome wine. As everyone knows, Thanksgiving weekend is a football weekend, and there were ample and large televisions with all of the apps suitable to watch any game. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the fireplaces inside and out made for the loveliest holiday weekend. This home made us feel, like we were staying in a friends home, not a random rental property. I could go on and on about the thoughtfulness given to furnish and stock this home. Absolute Perfection!
