"Would not recommend this hotel. There was no WiFi which was apparently an issue for days and they did not let guests know. The WiFi was also the only source of tv connection so you were not able to watch tv. Woke up to shower and discovered there was no soap in the bathroom and one tiny towel- went down to ask for soap and extra towels and was told there was nothing that could be done until 9 or 10 am when housekeeping starts. Was also told there would be no way to get extra towels because they were booked for the weekend."

"Clean room. Comfortable bed Water available at all times in lobby. Room was very warm on arrival. Left for dinner, and came back to newly installed air conditioner! Coincidence or great service? Bathroom is quite small, but all toiletries and towels stocked for you. There is a fridge, but again very small. Sufficient for a couple water bottles. Overall nice place for the price in NYC. "

"Worst hotel stay in my 45 years of traveling. My son and I were so happy to leave this hotel. The list is long. A/C not working in room and 80 degree even after helpful staff tried to fix. Switched us to a different room that already had people staying in it. How embarrassing trying to open a hotel door at 11pm to find people already there wondering why you are trying to get in. They put us in another room only to find long strands of someone else’s hair on the pillow, gross! Nightclubs downstairs, next door and across the street mean if you have a room on street side you’ll hear nothing but obnoxious honking and party people. The incessant honking and “move your F’ing car” will last from 3-4:15 am every morning. Tiny rooms without anywhere to sit but the bed. No nightstand, table or anywhere to put stuff conveniently. 3 inch deep sinks that are absolutely terrible. This hotel is meant for young hipsters and is nothing like a normal hotel. If you’re over 30 stay somewhere else. You will seriously regret it like us. I’m 57 and my son is 18. I’ve travelled the world extensively and this was one of the most disappointing hotels yet. It’ll work for a bed, toilet and shower but that’s it. Very nice staff but unfortunately nothing they can do to make up for all the problems. If your middle aged this place is not for you. "

"Pluses: 1. The location was accessible to restaurants and public transport. 2. The size of the rooms is good enough for a family of four. We didn't stay in the room other than for sleep, so the space was not a big deal, but if you are looking for a room to relax, this won't be the right choice, but for NYC, this is good enough. 3. The bed was really good, I turn around a lot in sleep, my spouse didn't feel it. It was really comfortable. Minor minuses: 1. The complaint we had was that there was no water for a brief few hours the next day of our arrival. We checked in late at night, due to the water shutoff, we had to get ready early to avoid being stuck for long. This was not notified when we checked in by the staff; we almost missed the notice in the room until my kid picked it up and tried to read it. 2. The AC didn't work that well to circulate air. I left the window open a bit,t but it was 40's outside, so we shut it off. The exhaust in the bathroom didn't work either. Except for these minor inconveniences, the stay was ok to roam NYC."
