"We stayed at motel one Basel the night before a cruise we were scheduled to take. The staff was so nice, super helpful. Room was very clean, bed and pillows perfect and the bar and breakfast was a added plus."

"Impersonal, all contact made by Internet. Spent nearly $20 Australian dollars on phone calls trying to get the Basel Card which was paid for in our city tax. Tiny bathroom - had to sit sideways on toilet. "Garden " was a shared brick paved patio covered with weeds. Not impressed for the price we paid. Redeeming feature was proximity to 2 tram lines. "

"Our stay was perfect. Location is very good to access the city centre by foot or they will supply a free travel permit for the duration of your visit on all public transport. When you come from the airport you don't need to buy a bus ticket to your hotel as your hotel reservation entitles you to free travel. Over all great experience with and in the hotel. Will stay again."

"Overall one night stop over stay was good. Hotel is clean and modern with a grocery store convenient located in front. However good signage would help as we just come off a huge roundabout and there are so many structures blocking the view of the hotel from the road that one is not sure where to enter to reach the hotel. Also, we had problem using the keypass to get from our level to the lobby. Our friend managed to get from her floor to the lobby and asked for help. Receptionist kept insisting...

"Returned from full day of sightseeing, FOB didn’t work (10:30 PM). No one answered call via call button. Thankfully, fellow guest let me in. WiFi is complete rubbish in common areas. Groceries were discarded prior to my departure (staff gave me complimentary salad-yum!). No electrical outlets/USB by beds. And, yes beds are RIGHT next to each other-bit weird. Pros? Place is clean, good location, nice vibe and staff are helpful. Free metro pass. Skip overpriced breakfast! (Hopefully, you won’t get...

"The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing the receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable and recommended a great restaurant very close by. The attendant at the breakfast offered by the hotel was very friendly, helpful and patient. The receptionist also arranged a late checkout which was very nice as we are nearing the end of a long journey and we have a long layover in Basel. Overall a wonderful stay in a comfortable place."
