About this property
Peak District Country Escape - Garden, Views, Games & Fire
Escape to the countryside and enjoy a peaceful stay at our Peak District Countryside Escape – a spacious, characterful country home surrounded by beautiful Peak District scenery.
Set in the countryside near Chapel-en-le-Frith, Hayfield and Buxton, the house sleeps up to 13 guests across 4 bedrooms and offers far more space than your typical 4-bedroom cottage. With generous living areas and plenty of room to spread out, it's an ideal getaway for families, groups of friends and those looking to spend quality time together in the Peaks.
Games Room - One of the highlights of the house is the games room, complete with a pool table, air hockey and table tennis. Whether it's keeping the kids entertained, a competitive evening with friends or something to do after a day exploring, there's plenty to enjoy without leaving the house. The rest of the property offers spacious communal areas where everyone can come together, along with a cosy fireplace for relaxed evenings in.
A huge countryside garden - Step outside into a huge private garden with an expansive lawn, a stream running through the grounds and beautiful countryside all around you. Rabbits, pheasants and a variety of birds are regular visitors, giving the property a wonderfully peaceful, rural feel. There's also an outdoor terrace with beautiful countryside views – perfect for a morning coffee, an evening drink or simply sitting back and taking in the surroundings.
Explore the Peak District - The property is brilliantly positioned for exploring some of the Peak District's best-known countryside and walking routes. Kinder Scout and the surrounding area are within easy reach, alongside countless trails, valleys and picturesque Peak District villages. Whether you're planning a serious day of hiking, a relaxed countryside walk or simply want to explore places such as Hayfield, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Buxton, the house makes a fantastic base for discovering the area.
And when you don't fancy cooking, The Beehive pub is just around the corner – ideal for a drink or something to eat after a day in the Peaks.
Whether you're coming for a walking weekend, a family getaway, a celebration with friends or simply a few peaceful days away from everyday life, this is a place to settle in, enjoy the countryside and make the most of your time together.
