Holiday Homes in Hico

"I think this hotel was "average"...a 3.5. I graded it a little lower because the room had a bit of a sweaty clothes smell and the bathroom countertop was tiny. We opened the window for a bit (the temp was in the mid 60s outside) &, after, ran the AC. However, when we returned from dinner, the slight smell was still there. The breakfast was good & included scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits, gravy, bread, bagels, waffles, cereal, yogurt, juice, muffins & fruit. The desk staff was kind & helpful. We had dinner at El Bandido, after a recommendation from the desk agent. The food was good & the prices were very reasonable. The location of this hotel was in close proximity to some of the hiking & sightseeing we were doing."

"Clean, well-stocked with necessities (tp, paper towles, etc). Lights on to welcome us was a nice touch. The hot tub was the cleanest we've encountered--thank you. We discovered the gears on the can opener are stripped, FYI. Lovely property and would stay again."

"It’s not new but its not bad. Just some signs of age in places. Other areas like the lobby seem newer/updated. Staff were fantastic. Pleasant, welcoming and accommodating. Beds were comfortable. Overall a reasonably priced place to get a good nights rest"

"A great little cabin with everything you need, centrally located, clean, and well appointed! Just make sure you copy and paste the address and don't follow the 'get directions' pin from Expedia/VRBO. :)"

"We thoroghly enjoyed this clean little cabin. Weve stayed at a lot of VRBO homes and this was so well equipped. We cooked most meals there and had everything we need. We will b back."
