"The cabin was well maintained and the property was very secluded. The beds and couch were comfortable. Showers and baths were working and in great condition. We enjoyed the small fire pit and picnic table in the backyard. We were there to visit family and ride our Jeeps at the Good Evening Ranch. The cabin was convenient to all of our activities. We would definitely recommend staying at the cabin."

"The house was clean. All appliances in good working order. Check in was easy. Owner easy to communicate with. She even checked in with me to make sure I got home okay. She was great to work with. "Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!"

"This house fit our family perfectly. The kids had plenty to do with the game room and the large yard. The adults enjoyed a game of pool and the hot tub. The getaway is conveniently located to hiking, the beach and Fat Eddie's. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here."

Perfect location for all our hiking adventures from the south end to the north end of the park. Just 15 minutes from Bridge. Highly recommend the Bridge Walk! "We stayed two nights at the house on our trip to visit New River Gorge National Park in June. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked with kitchen supplies. We walked to Tudor's Biscuit World for breakfast one of the mornings, since it is only two blocks away. Our communication with David was great during our stay and he was quick to respond to any questions."

"The little house was exactly as described. It was very cute, spacious and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and I’m picky about my bed! The train tracks are VERY close, but we enjoyed watching the trains go by. There were about 3 per night. The horns woke us but we were lulled back to sleep by the sound of the trains. The kitchen was well equipped but I suggest you bring your own spices if you plan to cook. The area is gorgeous and we were able to hike many trails throughout the park....

"We LOVED our stay! The house had everything we needed from spices in the kitchen to hot chocolate for my boys. The dog bed and dog toy were a bonus! This was our first family trip that we brought our pup with us, and I feel now he'll get to go on every vacation. The fenced in yard was great, the view from the yard/deck was wonderful. The owners gave us a bunch of recommendations from places to hike and where to eat. Everything was wonderful!"

"The home was very close to rafting, atv, bridge walk and zip lining. It was nice to be able to cross the bridge to walk to restaurants. We had 5 people and it was perfect for us. Kitchen was nicely stocked, note there were no paper products in the kitchen. House was clean and welcome bag was a nice touch! Thanks for a great base for our trip."

"Everyday was an adventure for our group of two couples from NJ who travel together every year. Biking (downhill was the best!), eating out at Gaines Estates and other local restaurants, grilling in, boating, and more biking were some of the highlights of our trip. We were all able to get a good night sleep for each of the five nights of our stay. The wildlife in the backyard was a bonus. Kitchen was well-stocked! Wild and wonderful time. We love West Virginia."

"Amazing place!!!! Took us max 5 minutes to get to the park. Well needed break from the DMW. Host was engaged and responsive. Zero issues. I will definitely stay there again. Shopping was also close. An overall oasis. Host even left smores fixings for the firepit and had wood on site."

"Accurate description and pictures. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, my two little dogs and myself. Very clean, and all the necessities for a short visit. Very easy to get into the cabin, no issues with using the tv/wifi or finding the cabin. Owner sent clear directions on going to cabin, getting into cabin, and recommendations in the area. Parking was steps away from the door, making it easy to unload our car. Friendly neighborhood dog that came to relax with me on the cute porch....
