Modern Retreat ★ Minutes from NRG Nat’l Park

After a day of adventure, unwind in our newly remodeled modern home, ideally located in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park. With the guest in mind, we have thoughtfully equipped this recently remodeled home with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, including a 65" Smart TV, new mattresses & crisp, clean linens.

This space was fully renovated in Spring 2021, it is freshly remodeled and ready to host you. It offers a fully, equipped brand new kitchen with everything you need to craft a meal. Unwind in the evenings with a board game, or set up shop in front of the 65" smart tv with surround sound. This home is sure to please.

The house is well-equipped with fresh towels, bed linens, hair dryer, refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster oven, dishes, blender, coffee pot, utensils, pots, and pans. This property does not have a dishwasher.

Wonderful Location and Comfortable Accommodations

This property is ideally located to so many amazing things in the area. The property is clean and comfortable, and easily accommodated 2 families. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great Location

This house was located only minutes from the New River Gorge Bridge and downtown Fayetteville. It was a quiet neighborhood and centrally located for all of our activities. The house had been completely remodeled and was extremely clean on the inside, including new cabinets and cookware. The single bathroom was a little inconvenient, but everyone had their own bedroom. If we get the chance to come back, we will definitely stay there again. Mark

Great Place (until a tornado hit)

We had an amazing stay, the location of the house was perfect, and we were in easy reach of all the hikes, climbing, and other activities we planned for the week. Everything was amazing until the area took a direct hit from a tornado knocking out power for the rest of the week. The manager did a good job of communicating with us about the power outage (this house does not have a generator) so the lack of power in the entire area was not what we hoped for on our vacation but is also not the fault of this property.

Excellent Stay

Great location and great stay. Appreciated the quick response time from our host when we had questions. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and it was a great home to come back to after our adventures. It had everything we needed.

Great for families visiting New River Gorge NP! We stayed here with our 4 kids (ages 7-11) and had a great visit. Plenty of room for everyone and very close to the bridge and hiking trails.

Great house near NRG!

Very nice, clean and comfortable property just a few minutes from New River Gorge bridge. Very well furnished and comfortable in a fantastic location. Would absolutely stay here again.

The house was clean and pleasant; the beds were comfortable; the AC worked well, and there was coffee and filters in the cabinet for the coffeemaker. The house was an easy drive to most of the local New River attractions and restaurants. The shower head was even adjustable between a wide and concentrated spray.

Great location for the surrounding attractions

Great spot for us as we were mainly visiting family in Oak Hill, but still very close to all other site seeing spots around the location. The listing was accurate, but the beds weren’t great and the backyard and back patio area weren’t exactly great spots to do anything. Overall it’s a good house and location for surrounding sites. I would recommend it if you’re looking to stay in the area.

Pleasant Accommodations

The property delivered on cleanliness and location. We appreciated the property managers concern about a satisfactory stay but daily correspondence was a tad distracting from our our goal of relaxation and outdoor activity. Nonetheless, the property was tastefully furnished and decorated and Elizabeth, a wonderful person to work with.

Excellent getaway for our young family

We were so grateful for such a great space during our stay in the New River Gorge. It was close to tons of great hiking and major attractions. We were especially grateful that the space was so kid-friendly. Sometimes vacation rentals are filled with lots of little knick-knacks that I spend every minute of down-time trying to keep my kids from getting into or breaking. This cabin was lovely and modern and free of parent headaches! We also appreciated the flexibility of the hostess so that a family friend could also come with us! Very attentive and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Nice little gem

This property has an excellent location to visit all of the surrounding parks. It is literally 2 minutes away from the highway. The house was super clean and the kitchen very well stocked! Nice towels and bedding. Plenty of room to spread out. Owner checked in on our stay. The only suggestion I have is that the bedroom windows need blackout drapes. The street lamp illuminated the front two bedrooms through the blinds and the neighbors security light lit up the back bedroom again through the blinds. So much better than a motel room!

Great location to hiking

The house is easy to reach and is within 10 minutes of multiple hikes and visitor center. The inside was immaculate and as described. It was well stocked. No outside ambiences but you are going hiking for outside views anyway.

Above and Beyond Expectations

From the moment we found this listing and booked it everything was easy and smooth. The owner made sure we would have everything we needed and more and was in contact with us from the moment we booked all the way thru to our departure. The house was situated on a quiet family street and center to everywhere you wanted to be. It was very clean and very comfortable. The smile on the kids faces were priceless. They even choose to sit and watch a movie with us parents after coming in from a day of rafting. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area again. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.
