"This was the most unusual stay ever, the hotel and staff were absolutely amazing in every respect and deserve huge credit all round. The hotel is currently hosting around 1,000 displaced survivors of the 7/10 Hamas attack on Israel and we were the only tourists staying at the hotel. It was a visit I will never forget."

"This was obviously a big impressive hotel at some point but it is well past that now. The elevators, carpets, doors, showers, and towels are all old and banged up and falling apart. The Cleo tel is not taking it easy on the facilities - you can see the abuse all’s round you. Thread bare towels, crumbling doors and fixtures, dirty common areas - are all around.
