"Cozy hotel. My big room had everything necessary. Breakfasts were OK for being continental. Nice tropical garden inside the hotel. The employees were nice, helpful and knowledgeable, especially Darya and Thomas. The hotel has also kitchen for everyone to use with utensils, filtered water, microwave, stove etc."

"The property’s location was excellent—right on the beach and about a 10-minute drive to Jaco. It had a charming old-world feel, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The property is in serious need of renovation, with many things visibly falling apart. Some units lacked hot water, and while the service was polite, it was very slow and eventually got the job done. "We had confirmed reservation and the hotel gave our rooms away. The front desk lady just walked out at 6, closing the reception. There was no assistance. We we stranded on the parking on new years eve and needed 3 hours to find accommodation. Expedia couldn’t find any booking too as everything was sold out. We somehow found a local hostel.
There were other guests too who had similar experience and were stranded.
Do not recommend this business. "

"I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. "
