"The room was clean and in very good condition. However, there were a couple of notable exceptions. There are two switches in the bathroom, one for the light and one for the ventilation fan. The switch for the vent fan does not seem to work as there is no vent fan in the ceiling. There is a round white plate in the ceiling where a vent fan may have been. Between the bunk beds and the queen bed, there is a single double switch on the wall. One must be for a Zombie repellent and the other is a Chupacabra repellent. They worked very well as I did not see any Zombies or Chupacabras while there. Some of the wood furniture could use a touch up pen due to wear. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would recommend to visit, as I plan to stay there again."

"The room was clean, very standard for this beautiful country! We got upgraded in rooms to a poolside room and we loved the view/ view of the beach as well! Jason at the front desk was very nice and informed us of all details of the hotel! We did come during the rainy season so it rained quite a bit but it was super pretty and breakfast was yummy! Everything was great! "

"Everything was wonderful. We had a fantastic time. The rooms were aptly equipped, the communication was efficient, the kitchen had everything we needed, the pool was clean, the outside areas were super pretty and comfortable. It helped that during this stay we had great weather. We were able to see many animals, from a black squirrel to a whale. I would recommend this location 100 times. The ocean is not apt for swimming as it is rough but the beach is wide and we were able to play in the sun and enjoy the ocean's beauty along with the beautiful sky. We hope to go back one day."

"Clean, modern home located right on a black sand beach. Easy walking distance to several restaurants with some very good local food and a mini mart store. The concierge, Patricia, was very helpful in number of ways, particularly in booking various activities for our group of eight which included transportation, enabling us to bypass a car rental. We spent most of our time on the veranda facing the beach, enjoying the views and the swimming in both the ocean and the sipping pool. Would absolutely recommend as a.Costa Rico getaway!"

"Our unit had a full kitchen, missing only a microwave, which we really never needed. One restaurant/bar on each side of the apart hotel! The stay had the feel of a VRBO in a local area, with amenities, including Wi-Fi and cable TV! We would return to this area and stay again!"
