"Location is ideal for trips to Lake Moraine, Lake Louise, and other popular hikes and sights since it seems to be in the heart of Banff national park. Depending what room you get, can be challenging. I must have went with a low budget room considering the flight, car rental, and a week spending in the national park. Room had the necessities for staying. Only two things I was not a fan of was how thin the walls were to hear from neighbors and house keeping. Also no A/C though mentioned via Expedia but no way to turn off their thermostat. Pretty slept with the window open. Luckily it was early June where weather was mid 40’s to 30 the lowest. Aside from these two it’s still inferior to the ideal location and wonderful scenery around plus shuttle convenience offered by the resort."
"Lite cleaning of the room each day was helpful. It was nice getting the room stocked with oatmeal and granola bars each day. Small kitchen allowed us to cook meals and save money. We could walk to Lake Louise each day (huge savings not having to worry about a bus and timing things out)."
"What a wonderful stay, I don't even know where to begin. Fist, check in was simple, very nice people. Once in our suite... wow...the views from the balcony were amazing. Waking up to falling snow in the mountains with snow covered evergreens has been checked off the bucket list. The walk to Lake Louise was simple and only a 15-20 minute hike. We loved all the amenities from the pour over coffee in the room to the ability to cook our own food. We did take out one evening as well, and that was delicious. The suite was spacious for a family of 4 especially being as you're in the mountains, very clean and well kept care of. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you for our wonderful stay! Also... if you're looking to beat the crowds of the day. Hike back over to Lake Louise in the evening for a relaxing, peaceful, and still lake to see all its beauty. Definitely a plus to staying here!"
"We stayed here just one night with our dog. The hotel was clean and very cozy! The only thing I’d say is the room is pretty small for two people and a medium sized dog, and we wished there was a mini fridge in the room to store some things. That said I did love that there was a communal microwave right downstairs and nice big lawns for our dog right outside. And having a bathtub was lovely too! And very close to lake Louise which was amazing. We went in the evening after 7pm which I highly recommend! Free parking and less people"
"This place is very close to Lake Louise and within walking distance, which is really convenient. However, if you're driving a truck, like we did with our GMC Sierra, you might find it challenging to get in and out, and parking can be quite difficult. The cabin itself is charming—though a bit outdated, it offers everything we needed. Our only disappointment was that the parking situation wasn't clearly communicated beforehand, which led to some struggle on our part. Despite these challenges, we appreciated the location and the effort to make our stay comfortable. Don't bring a truck or SUV!"
"Great property! Situated in a quiet area close to the Chateau, the property has great atmosphere complemented by comfortable beds, great amenities, a nice kitchen, and the very nice touch of complimentary granola bars and oatmeal for breakfast.
We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait until we return.
The front desk staff and the property owners went above and beyond when one of our friends had a skiing accident during the stay. Thank you!"
