Newly renovated with a contemporary finish and positioned on the cliff edge with breathtaking views over Porthleven harbour and beach, Beacon House is a truly unique offering of holiday accommodation. Sleeps up to 14 guests in 5 bedrooms, all with sea views, including the bunk room with 2 full size triple bunks and having spacious living areas with full height patio doors and glass panelled balconies to make the most of the spectacular view. The house has been furnished to a high standard with Tom Raffield lamps, Bonconcept furniture, venetian plaster bathrooms and Willy Guhl outdoor chairs. The well equipped Roundhouse kitchen includes a double oven and hob, wine fridge and island with storage for a generous offering of crockery, utensils and glassware and additional dining seating. Stylishly decorated for Christmas with a cosy log burner and the winter views of crashing waves against the harbour walls, the house is perfect for extended families, with sleeping arrangements to allow for children or teens to 'bunk down' together. And with 5 bath/shower rooms and 6 WCs there are plenty of facilities for everyone. If you're visiting in the Summer and enjoy watersports you can make the most of the harbour on your doorstep, or if you prefer, spend the day on Porthleven beach or one of the many other local beaches. There are many local attractions and coastal walks making it an ideal haven for those who love the outdoors. There are 2 entrances to the house, the first via Beacon Road where the house is practically hidden from view with an attractive grass roof and having a large private gated off parking area. The second entrance is at the bottom, right beside the harbour and a moment's walk to the Ship Inn. Outside, you can also enjoy table tennis, badminton, a handy outdoor shower, large areas of decking on the upper and ground levels with furniture and a bbq.
