Really good. Great location, great room, great staff, great value. I loved the feel of the hotel, too. The stay was just what I needed - so much so that I tried to book a room for a second night later in the week ... but had no joy!

This is a great location if you're visiting Helinski. It's close to the train station, the port, and of course, the senate square. It's in the 5th floor of an old building but it has an elevator and everything works smoothly.

Great location

Older property on the fifth floor of the building. Some quirkiness due to age, but great central location and a tram stop literally right outside the door of the building. I had an emergency when my original lodging was cancelled hours before check-in, and Senate Hotel was able to accommodate me at very short notice.

This is a good place for a budget stay in the middle of the city. The hotel is very basic. The rooms are very basic. One has to realize that this hotel is consists of maybe 8-10 rooms on the 5th floor of a building. Rooms do not have toilets/showers. So, when booking one has to be aware of this. It is a single floor of a building! It has two very small toilets for men/women. It has a shower that would be a shower of a typical home. It has a small kitchen, with a normal size fridge, a sink, a small dinner table, a stove, ... The location is very central. The lady at the reception was terrific. She was warm, welcoming, smily, helpful. Thanks Galina for your hospitality.

It's a weird but great little hotel, provided you read what it is and have reasonable expectations. It's shared bath, and the rooms are sparse but clean and comfortable. For the price you pay, it's more than fair. Don't book it for your romantic get away, but if you want a good price on a great location and the room is just a place to sleep. It's perfect.

Nice staff, very rough facilities.

Nice staff, and a great location, seeing it is so close to the city centre. But I was surprised how rough the room and the shared bathroom were. I wouldn't consider this a hotel, but rather a motel. But, the price was low so I guess that nakes up for a part of it.

Godt centralt beliggende i centrum og gå afstand til mange seværdigheder. Lidt svært at finde, da det ligger på 5 sal i en ældre bygning, så det lig er e. Alm opgang. Obs man deler toilet og bad med de andre værelser. Rigtig fint til prisen. Vil gerne bruge hotellet en anden gang.
