Independent in Helsinki

"Great location in central Helsinki right next to the train station which was perfect for my trip. Restaurant was a bit expensive and I do wish breakfast was an amenity - I went elsewhere each morning. Another downfall was being charged 30 euros for checking in early. After traveling for 20 hours I just needed to lie down and take a shower. I arrived at the hotel 2 hours before the published check in time and even though my room was ready you still get charged. I’ve never had that happen before"

"The staff was courteous but mostly English speaking. Breakfast was delicious and lacked nothing for our group. The room was tired and worn out and we definitely expected more for the price. Location is very good; central, but also the rooms were quiet, never heard any noise from outside or inside. "
