Das Heart of Helen Haus is located right in the heart of the Bavarian Alpine village of Helen, Georgia. Within a short walk is the excitement of German restaurants and beer gardens, European shops, river tubing, and the Festhalle where the annual Oktoberfest is held each September and October. This Bavarian-style townhome is just across the street from Unicoi Hill Park with a playground, and one block off Main Street. Feel the energy from your private retreat in the city!

This Bavarian-style townhome offers the perfect blend of convenience and serenity, located just across from Unicoi Hill Park and a block from Main Street.

Spread out across three stories, this townhome features a basement room with a day bed and a large screen TV for entertainment. Fantastic Location

This property was perfect for our family, which includes three teens. The house is large, well-stocked and really comfortable. We enjoyed that it was decorated for Christmas, and we could see Christmas lights in the park from the living room. Location couldn’t be better - walk to the park, downtown, and hiking trails. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

Perfect getaway location

This charming townhome provided a wonderful atmosphere and the location on the edge of town, across from a park, put you in the heart of it all and with walking distance of anything. Plus it had all the space we needed. Only thing that would have made it better is if we could have stayed longer.

Short and Sweet

We were there for a long weekend and the townhome was literally in the heart of everything. We had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Everything is walking distance, with the best bakery right next door. Will definitely book here if we go to Helen, Ga again!

A spacious and cozy townhome in the heart of Helen. It was great to be able to have extra space for our little one to nap and a kitchen with all the essentials. Any questions or issues were quickly responded to and resolved. I have already recommended this property to friends and family.

Great Property

This property is AWESOME !!! LOVED EVERYTHING. Location to everything in town was in walking distance. The property was excellent. Very comfortable had everything you needed. Can't wait to come back on our next trip to Helen will definitely be booking another stay here.

Great location!

This place was close to everything, mostly clean and the primary bed was comfortable. The secondary bed was comfortable after a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper was added on the second night. The manager was resposive wuickly when we noted the stain on the carpet, and the issue with the television. They also worked out the mattress topper, although that took some doing. Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Perfect property to enjoy all that Helen, GA has to offer. This property is walking distance to nearly everything in Helen. We have a family of college kids and a toddler and we had no problem walking the streets safely and even walked to the lights along the water. It’s a short walk to a grocery store and to multiple dining options. A park for our toddler was an added bonus which is right across the street in front of the property. I talk about walking because during the Thanksgiving weekend the streets are packed with vehicles and walking is actually convenient. Perfect location.

The perfect spot in Helen

The townhome is located within walking distance to all the sites and restaurants in downtown Helen. The home is very spacious and spread out with 3 floors. The basement has its own mini kitchen and bathroom with a futon. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs in case you there are knee issues within your party. The management team is very responsive. We will definitely come back!

Thanksgiving in Helen

We had a great stay. The property is very nice, walking distance from restaurants, bars and shops. Directly across from a nice park. Several options for morning coffee, full dinners, snacks at the beer garden. Great options around Helen too (outdoor activities, hiking, fishing, etc.) The property is three stories, spacious enough to enjoy time together or relax in privacy. Kitchen is extremely clean and well equipped. Bathrooms are adequate and amenities are great. Unfortunately the wifi is quite unstable, but we came to turn off and read so it wasn’t an issue for us. We loved our stay. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay here but the balcony was our favorite! The beds were comfortable with soft linens & the towels were fresh. This unit provided everything we wanted & we enjoyed walking into Helen without being concerned about parking. We would definitely stay here again!
