Creeksong Cabin in the North Georgia Mountains

If you're looking for that private yet easily accessible cabin on a creek, this is it! It is perfectly situated above a large chattering creek that can be seen and heard while relaxing or dining on the porch. The picturesque stairway down through the tree canopy will take you to a picnic table, bench and firepit right beside the creek. Be sure to take your fishing pole because you're sure to see a rainbow trout or two on the 120 ft of shoreline right on the property. Perfect water playground for children of all ages. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a single sleeper sofa in the living room. This offers plenty of room for 5 (or 6 if you don't mind sleeping on a couch). There are 2 full bathrooms. The living room has a roku tv and a DVD player with a large selection of DVDs. Both bedrooms have a tv and DVD player. Very good cell service over the entire property. The kitchen, dining area and living room are all openly connected so that all can be together. It's truly an amazing place!

You’ll find plenty of waterfalls in the area. There are several Appalachian trail trailheads nearby. Jackrabbit biking/hiking trail has over 13 miles of trails and is only 15 minutes away. Lake Chatuge offers boating, tubing and jet skiing. Hiawassee is only 5 miles away and Helen is 20 miles away so there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities.

Great spot!
Nice little cozy cabin on a pretty water fall creek. Did not get much time down by the creek because of the rain, but we enjoyed the view from the back deck. Has everything we needed and then some to make our stay enjoyable, relaxing and memorable.

Wonderful location
Having a river so close to the house was a blessing. The sound of it along with the incredible view was worth the trip from central Florida. My family wanted to move there to stay forever. We will never forget the experience.

Great location and amenities
I recommend this property. Lovely facilities, rustic from outside and comfortable and inviting on inside. All you need is provided including WiFi and streaming tv. Books and dvds included. But, most of all, the creek below the house is the big draw. Steps down to the creek are built solid and have landings for those of us needing to take a breath. Creek bank is designed w/fire pit and chairs around it. Perfect! Long covered porch overlooking the creek is so inviting and the grill is available for guests. Easy drive to local restaurants, waterfalls, and cities nearby. Tourist shopping in nearby Clayton is fun and reasonable as are wineries. So much to do!

Slice of Heaven
We love coming to the mountains and this cabin has been our favorite! The location was perfect, about 8 minutes from downtown Hiawassee, where you can find Ingles, restaurants, and shopping. The cabin was clean, cozy, and being on the creek was absolutely perfect! We hiked Hemlock Falls and enjoyed the fall colors and cooler temps. We hope to be back soon!
