Property was situated perfectly in Helen, with an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops. We spent a Thanksgiving holiday weekend there and enjoyed the Christmas lights in town, and the Christkindlmarkt. The owner was very responsive, and we will not hesitate to stay here again! Great experience!

Home away from home

We had a wonderful time. This was close to town but secluded enough to relax. This is a great place for family and friends.

Great location

He was always available for any questions and never felt bothered. Everything was clean and available to use. This location was great due to be within walking distance to everything. Already planning another stay at same location for next year.

Close to everything-great place to stay!

My family had a great time in Helen...and we were next door to Helen tubing! We were in town and didn't have to worry about being stuck in traffic. Great shops, food, and fun tubing! Mike was responsive and helpful and the place was clean and very comfortable. We will have to come back and try the jacuzzi--we ran out of time.

Helen Georgia Fun trip

Our vrbo townhouse on Edelweiss Strasse was excellent. 3 floors with bedrooms on floors 1 and 3 and a great common area on the second floor. The owner Mike was great with contact. If we sent a q The townhouse is located in a great area right on the river and we could walk to almost all the great question we got a reply very quickly.

Great Adult Sibling Get Away

3 Adult Sibling Couples and our 83 year old mom have been doing 3 day get aways to enjoy time together. This home accommodated all of us comfortably for sleeping and then hanging together in the combined living/kitchen/dining area. It was close enough to walk to restaurants, shops and activities. We did not plan to be in town for Helen Oktoberfest, we booked for Helen in general and the Blue Ridge Train Ride (an hour away) - but it turned out to be a lot more fun!!

Walkable to town

Condo was clean , well kept- hot tub was enjoyable after a fun day. Just beware hot tub is difficult to get into, there really needs to be some sort of stool to enter it. Also, would not advise condo for people who have difficulty climbing stairs, as there are three levels. But , great for those who like a little space between bedrooms and main floor. En-suite in upper two bedrooms was nice surprise. Would definitely consider renting again !

You know what assumptions do….

From pictures I wrongly assumed the condo had some side facing the river. Instead it faced the road and parking lot. I also wrongly assumed the layout of place and wasn’t prepared for three flights of stairs to get to showers-which we’re both on 3rd floor. Unfortunately there were some maintenance issues that hadn’t gotten resolved by our arrival. However the kids enjoyed the not quite working hot tub and we got our exercise. Most appreciated the washer/dryer. Communication with owner was good it was just unfortunate that, like most places, maintenance /repair people are overworked and extremely rare. Overall we enjoyed our visit to Helen

The location of the property was great, it was walking distance to town (a little far for some, but definitely not an issue). The beds were comfy and the kitchen was adequate for our needs. The hot tub is a great addition. There is no water view from the unit, so that is probably my only complaint.

Nice, clean, comfortable place for a family. We had everything we needed, and the owner was available if we had any questions. The walk to town is about 7-10 minutes, so it may not be ideal for everyone, but it was fine for us.

Chattahoochee dreaming!

Very nice and clean! Great location! Right next to the tubing companies and very close to downtown. Could easily walk to wherever we wanted to go in town!

Late Summer Vacation

Helen GA has always been one of my favorite places for vacationing. This property is located very close to the downtown area (walking distance) and even closer to some great food options. The owner was very nice and easy to work with and very responsive. Any issues we had were taken care of very quickly. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone who likes the Helen area!
