You will truly enjoy this beautiful home while listening to the sounds of the river running by from the covered-deck which is directly above the river. A fisherman's paradise, 150 yards of trout river frontage, catch your limit on the beautiful clear waters of the fast-flowing Chattahoochee River.

This spacious level property is bordered by the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Preserve. There is something for everyone: fishing, hiking, river tubing, biking, picnicking, horseback riding, or just relaxing by the outdoor fire pit and picnic area. The perfect spot for rest and relaxation. It is located close to nature and the headwaters of the upper Chattahoochee River.

We had such an amazing stay at the cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and peaceful. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the comforts of home with that perfect cozy mountain vibe.The location was unbeatable tucked away enough to feel private and serene, but still close to everything we wanted to do in town and the surrounding nature spots. We loved sipping coffee on the porch in the mornings and relaxing by the fire at night. It truly felt like a getaway where we could slow down and reconnect.Our family made the best memories here, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. This cabin is beautiful! Great location, only 2 miles from Helen. Parking is minimal, luckily we only drove 1 truck and not both. Cld possibly fit 2 small cars but no way we were getting both truck in there

Scenic Cabin with the perfect location

The cabin was perfectly located to be away from the city hustle and bustle, but also still extremely close to town. We absolutely loved that the river is right on the property. It was so peaceful! We had a bit of an issue with the cleanliness of the property when we arrived, but the communication was top-tier, and that issue was resolved. It’s a beautiful cabin.

Cabin by the river

We loved the location and overall decor of the cabin. So many dead animals staring at us but it worked. The river is literally out the back door and a very relaxing sound to sit next to. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the awesome master bathroom as well. The house is only minutes from Helen and other attractions like the beautiful Anna Ruby Falls. I hope we will have the chance to stay again.

Great getaway

Absolutely loved the location of this home. However, we had no cell service and WiFi went out for half of our stay. Was ok since we were trying to unplug. Dining table is upstairs which was a little odd and master bedroom had no privacy as it is located in the open loft upstairs. Again no problem for us since it was a sisters trip. The river was amazing and location was perfect. Communication was exceptional.

Enjoyable stay with a few inconveniences

House was as listed, property was clean, well stocked, Master closet was full of extra linen and a bunch of extra supplies, had to move because there was no space anywhere to hang clothes. The water pressure is horrible when the hot water is on, It literally takes an hour and 20 minutes to fill the tub, You cannot take 2 showers at once, cannot run the dishwasher or laundry if you want to take any kind of shower. So plan accordingly if traveling with family or another couple. The internet is very slow and streaming service is mediocre at best. A few simple updates would make this stay a higher rating, Location is great and close to town.

Three boys and a River

Our boys loved the property! Close proximity to zip lines, rock climbing, waterfalls, Helen town center, not to mention water front private river access for splashing, rock skipping, floating, and Cairn building. House is well planned overall and kitchen and bathroom facilities were up to date. I would suggest owner invest in new laundry facilities, not efficient or quiet. The previous reviews mentioning a ‘lack of general cleanliness’ and ‘chipped dishes’ are consistent with my findings. The owner should replace the dishes…they have been loved and show significant signs of stress; ceramic dishes will crack after continued washing in dishwashers. Housekeeping needs to address cobwebs, greasy fingerprints on cabinets, and dirty hardwood floors…all give the property an icky feeling. As a hardwood floor homeowner myself, I recognize after a long weekend of river tubing and high foot traffic the floors will need serious attention. Bathroom linens were clean and abundant, but white…why white? It’s a riverfront cabin with very little white in the decor. My biggest complaint to go on record is the kitchen dish towel…one is provided. Bring your own from home if you plan to dry anything. High priced for location…needs better care, more comfy outdoor seating options on both decks, and offer a few more “everyday luxuries”…like two dish towels. 😊
