Classy, big room and great bathroom, good restaurant.

Very quaint! Food excellent! Very comfy bed! And very clean! The setting beautiful!

The experience didn't start great when we, finally, discovered that there had been a name change (yes, drove past several times!!) and there was no-one there to greet us on arrival. However, things changed dramatically from there ... the place was lovely!! The staff were excellent and were so polite and helpful. The meals were outstanding ... so delicious, well priced and generous in their portions. The rooms were fantastic ... spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food. Clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous place to stay and restaurant and pub is great also. Felt like authentic British pub! We were well pleased.

Great food excellent staff why must i add more I have said it all

Barry, Anne, Emma, Sarah, Cuthbert and Alex along with others whose names we didn't get made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were more than friendly and we felt like part of the family. The room was spotless, the food lovely. The staff are well trained the serving food. The little things like gleaming cutlery, a fabulous tray with tea, coffee and still and sparkling mineral water, toiletries in the bathroom and a great shower make all the difference. We stayed for 15 nights but the...

Lovely room in a lovely pub. Very friendly and helpful owner/staff and lots if attention to detail in the rooms. Fantastic full breakfast included too.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything you need is within walking distance. The meals at the accommodation are excellent.

Located right on the shore of the Solent RIver and close to the CBD of Ryde, this old castle was a perfect stay and it was a pleasure to watch all the boats and ships going in and out of the Port of Southampton, as well of the coming and goings of the hovercraft nearby. Room was not huge, but a reasonable size for the two of us and comfortable. Room was in good condition and the staff were friendly and prompt. Whilst there is parking on site, it is also available to patrons of the hotel so...
