"Lovely room, great food and a fantastic breakfast"

"Nice hotel, nice staff. Basic food"

"Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Lovely, friendly, very helpful staff, compty bed and room, clean and with coffee/tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was first class, trout with poached eggs were perfect, Trish went above and beyond to help us with my disabled husband, she even collected our cases from our room and a staff member took and loaded them into our car. Would certainly stay here again."

"Clean room, friendly staff very helpful and excellent breakfast. Looking forward to staying again."

"Enjoyed our stay immensly"

"Great location, fab staff, great food, great breakfast"

"Wonderful property, great breakfast, nice rooms and air conditioning."

"My husband and I had a great stay at the Crossways. The staff were amazing and so helpful, the room was spacious and food was delicious!"

"Conveniently located for sight-seeing in Wells, owners were very helpful and friendly, food was exceptionally good, enjoyed our stay and would recommend"

"The staff were very friendly The rooms are nice, but not luxury and are a little dated. We booked for dinner and our food was delicious. Although we felt £13 for a glass of wine was a tad excessive. The breakfast was really tasty with good quality ingredients."

"We stayed here 2 nights whilst visiting the area, what a great find. The accommodation is in a separate building set behind the pub in the beer garden..the room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom. We had our evening meals in the pub and also breakfast, what fantastic food, 10/10 and the service from the owners and their team was first class. Thankyou. Nog Inn.."

"central location, wonderful breakfast, quaint. Will stay again!"

"Stayed for a nearby wedding, really easy, helpful staff, easy to contact, nice breakfast and good service. Nice size rooms. Really good location. Would stay again if going to the area."

"Wonderful place and friendly staff"

"Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning. Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again "

"Convenient with great cathedral view (room 2) . Very steep staircase so unsuitable for anyone disabled. Right in the centre of the city but little traffic noise."

"Welcoming, friendly staff, clean and well maintained room and property, super comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner offered a variety of fresh cooked meals which were really good. The pub has its own car park too. Quiet at night considering the location in the middle of the village, great to have a window that opened in my bedroom with a decent blackout blind. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. A true hidden gem of local hospitality."

"Very clean hotel but quite expensive"

"Great place to stay. Spacious bedroom with a good bed and quality bedding. Radio and TV in the room plus tea and coffee making facilities plus welcome shortbread on arrival. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. It is situated on a busy road but don’t let that put you off - see if you can get one of the quieter rooms at the back. Worth a visit and situated in a great area/countryside."
