"Cool property. Great room. Loved the history and location. Staff over weekend not very helpful - didn’t advise us that doors would be locked at 9pm and how to get back in and staff didn’t know any local attractions or shops."

"Very well located in City with dining options within walking distance.Super comfy beds and facilities. Excellent communication with hosts. Would highly recommend booking with them - and in fact we have booked another property with them in 2 weeks time.Highly recommend ."

"The unit we had was spacious and clean and very quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was warm. When we had trouble with the TV remote the gentleman onsite came immediately to help and fixed the issue."

"Clean homely space. 2 bedrooms with queen/king beds and double wardrobes. Lovely large bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with special touches from the hosts. Warm home with heat pumps and gas fire. Easy access to Hastings and Napier - great central point while in a nice quiet block"

"Owners are lovely. Great value for money. There are stairs you need to walk up. Despite the mixed reviews. We enjoyed our 3 night stay in a private room. It's basic and cheap. So you get what you pay for. Would definitely stay again."

"Room size was great, wonderful to have sky TV. The shower over a high sided bath was difficult for older visitors. Rooms were well serviced but cleaning in corners could be better. Overall, good value for price."
