"For a budget stay The Oyo Marine Parade was not bad at all. The room was a small double but had an en-suite and was clean & tidy. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. When my husband was taken into hospital and I didn’t return until 3.30am the 24 hr receptionist got up to let me in with a welcoming smile and kindness, much needed after 9 hours in A & E! "Lovely home made cooked breakfast to order. We were in the suite room lovely living space, futon bed was a little uncomfortable but memory foam used so may just be us. Everywhere was very clean, nice tea and coffee, decor and a well laid out bathroom. Was quite noisy in the morning and could hear breakfast being laid and noise from upstairs bedroom with people walking around. Overal a lovely stay and very friendly owner. "

"Warm welcome from the owners who helped to carry our suitcase to the room. Room was very clean and comfortable. All amenities were there. Grateful for the tea, coffee and also bottled water. Very enjoyable breakfast the next day."

"On arrival I was given a room but there was no heating so it was very cold. The Manger happily moved me to another room with a heater in which was better. The room itself was clean and in good condition with plenty of tea/coffee. The mattress though was very hard, not comfortable at all and quite crunchy. The noise from outside was easily heard (which can't be helped I imagine) but still was a loud room to have. The staff were helpful and all in all for the price I paid I can't really...

"Excellent! Didn’t really have any interaction with staff but they provided a great stay and made it extremely pleasant for us. The room was so cosy and had everything we needed. Close proximity to the village green meant we could walk there for food, drinks or just to explore the surrounding area. Such a lovely stay that we’d definitely be returning again! "

"The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...

Guestling Woods is beautiful with the bluebells at this time of the year.The great spotted woodpecker was back on the feeder regularly & we also saw the green woodpecker this time! "We had a great stay and really enjoyed the tennis court and the main living space at Hollyoak Sanctuary. The weather didnt cooperate so we didnt use the outside space as much as we wanted to but it was fabulous and would be great in better weather. The property manager was very receptive in answering questions and was flexible meeting our requests. Kitchen well equipped and bedrooms were great. Very dog friendly which we loved and a nice circular walk straight from the drive or back garden...
