"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

"A lovely clean and spacious property, we spent the week over Christmas and Val made it really welcoming with a few Christmas decorations. Plenty of parking for cars, table tennis in the garage to keep the kids entertained. Would definitely stay again, and the beach is only a short walk away. "

"A wonderful property, superb host in a terrific location. Our family of 7 aged between 23 and 80 thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here. The sunrises in the early morning were spectacular. "We had an amazing Easter week at the Crest, a beautiful house in the Meon valley, everything we could wish for..... Jo answered any questions and also made sure we had complete peace and privacy..... everything in the pictures and description is accurate, although in real life it's better. My only concern is leaving a great review will only make booking again more difficult!"

"Great bedrooms and bathrooms Good equipment Friendly check in The 2 bedrooms by the pool are a bit separated from main house but worked for us The pool itself was great but hot and humid to sit around and can’t open doors to garden . Great host check in , fresh flowers a nice welcome touch"

"James was great at communicating and very helpful. Even posted back to us a couple of small things we had left at the house. The house is as described. the bed in the main bedroom the only one we used was very comfortable. Despite being horrible weather the house was always warm and the heating was easy to control. The kitchen is well equipped."

"Furst impressions: gorgeous! Lovely drive way , with beaytuful flowers and a gorgeous garden , plenty of space to park Lovely big house , nice kitchen family room and large bedroom's , 3 bathrooms lovely for a group of 9 However , 2 room's where heating/rads did not work owners must be aware as one small heater in one room. No rads in kitchen underfloor heating did bot work , tried to contact owners, no reply. While the kitchen us lovely and spacious it needs repair, kitchen doors damaged....
