"Lovely hotel very centrally located in Harrogate. We booked half board and had an evening meal in the restaurant. It was really very nice. Only downside is because I booked with hotels.com we could not reserve parking, so had to pay for roadside parking."

"This is a traditional hotel, very well located in Harrogate, the welcome and parking was excellent for my one night stay. My room was spacious, with teas, coffee etc. the en-suite was again spacious, and the shower was excellent. I had an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were good value and service was great."

"The room was immaculate and the staff very attentive. The breakfast was amazing, with so much choice, and the bar was a lovely, relaxing area with very helpful bar staff. Our afternoon tea for two was delicious and very refined. We also loved the Agatha Christie connection to the hotel and it was lovely to see other guests dressed up in Agatha Christie era outfits. The things that were a slight negative were the lift, which was incredibly slow and there was a lack of plug sockets in the room..... and I'd forgotten to pack the multi plug extension I usually take! But all in all, we absolutely loved our stay."

"The perfect stay-over on our journey back to Scotland. A very well-appointed hotel - the perfect blend of traditional pub-feel alongside modern décor. The hotel room was located in the beer garden annex - immaculately presented with a very well appointed en-suite and comfortable bed. We had both diner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and both were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and hopefully will have a reason to return again."
