"The staff are lovely and the location is great
The rooms are dated and need refurbishment. The bed was uncomfortable and the king size bed was covered with two small sheets rather than one big one.
The sink had a big crack in it. I wouldn’t have sold that room with that sink.
There’s a lot of noise from restaurant patrons leaving and the people in the rooms above made a lot of noise at 2am.
The restaurant is amazing and made up for the room. However, breakfast on the weekend is from 8am...

Excellent location very close to central station and Rewe supermarket at ground level very convenient. Unfortunately our tv didnt work and you couldn't turn it off/on but staff were very helpful and offered free breakfast. Breakfasts are very high quality excellent choice. Highly recommend as a great hotel close to city centre but in lovely quiet area.

I cannot praise enough the hotel Mercure Hannover City in terms of position; quality of staff, room and restaurant; and overall feeling of being a welcome guest.
I found all the staff to be the most helpful and friendly of any hotel in any country in which I have stayed. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I really felt like a welcome guest in a homely situation. Breakfast was the only meal I took in the hotel and was sufficient to see me through until evening. The little bar was cosy and...

We only stayed one night for business but the stay was pleasant. The room was like a very nice family bedroom, with some endearing features.
There was no traffic noise and we slept well. Breakfast was included and was the usual European fare.
