"I have stayed at many wyndhams I am a truck driver and stay at a hotel almost every night that was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Full of crackheads prostitutes. The room smell like dog pee had a hole in the wall The tub had cracks in it so it was taped up I have photos of everything it was terrible that hotel needs to shut down"

"My husband grew up seeing this place and always wanted to stay here. So when he had to go back up to Michigan I thought it would be a nice surprise to book him a room here. First of all they said they had no rooms available. This was after booking the reservation (through Expedia). They all of a sudden managed to come up with a room - room 330 which was apparently akin to the janitor's closet. I *specifically* paid extra for a city view. He was on the third floor and his view was of the building across the street. Many areas of the room were dirty such as the table and counter spaces. The refrigerator only went down to 50 degrees. And was missing a leg. A guy came up to look at it, 'reset' it and it still only had 3 legs and went down to 50 degrees. The first night he only slept under the blanket but the second night he went under the sheets and spent most of the night not sleeping and scratching himself raw. He is covered in itchy bites of some sort. After the lack of responsiveness on the refrigerator issue he felt there was absolutely no point in taking this up with the front desk, especially since he was checking out this morning anyway. I spent quite a bit of money to do this for him and he could have stayed at the Super 8 and had a better experience and saved me a pile of money."

"It’s ok for a quick overnight stay if you are going to something in the area. There was blood looking stains all on the carpet. Looked like someone go hurt , or offed in the room. I asked for another room they said it was booked . There was missing pieces of the wall, and red drops on it. I asked had someone died in the room, or got hurt . I was told no. We didn’t have anywhere else to stay , so we had to keep the room. No problems in the parking lot, staff was nice.Tub looked gross, the water in the sink drained slow. Breakfast was not good , got some water and kept it moving. The hotel has a musty old smell. Stayed in room 247 . "

"My stay at Holiday Inn downtown Grand Rapids was great and very comfortable. They offered a breakfast buffet for $16.99, but we did not check it out. This hotel was clean, the staff was great, and they offered a free shuttle bus to downtown events. I recommend this hotel and I will stay here again. "

"Close location to everything downtown. Have to pay for breakfast-which we didn't do. Pool was super small but it's a pool. Rooms were nice but not well insulated. Could here everyone's conversations in hallway and the slamming of doors. "
