We really enjoyed our stay. There was a nice pool, play equipment for kids, a bbq and a gazebo. Very clean and the owner was very friendly. It is located just on the edge of town, so nice an quiet.

You get what you pay for

Well, you get what you paid for. We stayed at The Port Motel and our room was decent and clean. This time because we had our puppy with us the room assigned was very dated and rather dirty. The bathroom tub and toilet were in very rough shape, rusted and not a clean appearance even tho cleaned. The carpet was horrible and looked like it had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time. Other than that it was a place to lay our heads which was comfortable and the staff amazing to talk to. Would I stay here again…yes if it is only me but as for family or a couple it all depends what room they assign to you.

I understood from the beginning that this is an economy Hotel. However, as soon as I commented that the heating system was not working as I expected, they immediately changed my room to one were everything worked just fine. The staff was friendly.

If you just need a place to stay while on a road trip with no expectations, then it'll work. I imagine it'll be cold with the gaps in the door seal from the amount of morning daylight coming through the bottom and side of the door jamb. Limited outlets and internet, the pool looks good from a far.

Comfortable stay at a good price.

As this place very reasonably priced it is not fancy and it is definitely dated. In stating this the bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked well as it was scorching outside and the room was clean. The owner was friendly and nice. He also seems to do a lot of work keeping the place up. He’s always on the go. There’s an outdoor pool, a lounging area , gazebos for shade and a small, simple playground. As a bonus there are two gas barbecues for the guests to use. Live tv options plus included Netflix was available to watch. This wasn’t a leisure trip (funeral) but the room was comfortable. I hold consider staying here again in the future.

Good Wifi, surprisingly comfortable bed with adequate pillows, smallish bath towels adequate for a small person, thin toilet tissue, clean room and common areas; some paint scrapes on the wall and entry door. Perfectly adequate stay with good value for cost.
