"Staff were really lovely and helpful. A minor issue (lightbulb in main light had gone) was resolved in minutes. Room was clean and warm, bathroom was dated but clean and the shower was really powerful! Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as my daughter is fussy! The hotel is ideally located for the town centre, piece hall and eureka, and parking is a 1 minute walk away. Have seen lots of negative reviews of this hotel but honestly there was nothing wrong with it. I travel a lot for work and travel for weekends away with my 8 year old frequently and this was a perfectly acceptable room, with attentive staff. For the price it was brilliant!"

"The property is very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The facilities are excellent. We would have liked more shelving in the bathroom for our toiletries and we thought the shower mat looked a bit grimy.The outdoor space was useful for our grandson to run around in. We thought there could have been more toilet rolls. We would definitey return here in the future when we visit our family in Halifax!"

"A little gem. Beautiful decor and finished to a high standard. Extremely clean and lovely little touches in the room such as chocolates and tea making facilities . Nearby to centre and walking distance to Piece Hall. Will definitely book again if coming to stay in Halifax. "

"No signs outside the building but managed to get in OK. Teh corridors smellt of cigarettes and was a bit basic, but once in the apartment, it was nice and clean and perfect for our requirements."

"The property is in a great location for The Piece Hall and some great restaurants. The property is perfect for a short stay and was clean with the usual amenities. The communal areas need attention and the area outside the entrance door is by the refuse bins which isn’t ideal but we were aware of that when booking. "
