"The property is right on the edge to the marina with a great view of the inlet. The room had a patio overlooking the marina. This was the perfect place to relax and have your morning coffee while sitting on the patio watching the inlet/nature and the activity on the ocean. The coast line and inlet are amazing.
Of note, this is not a 24 hour a day, full service hotel. This is a small hotel on the waterfront with a lovely view in a small seaside town. The room was clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with bowls, plates, utensils, etc. The bathroom was large and was stocked with a large amount of nice towels, etc. The per night price is very reasonable.
There are not many amenities in Egmont. Madeira Park is a short drive away. The store connected to the hotel is open during the day and surprisingly well stocked for a store of that size. There are a couple pubs in town that serve good pub food.
We were looking for a quiet location with a great view to relax and access the nearby trails and ocean and this hotel was exactly what we wanted.
Plus, you can launch a SUP or kayak from right on front of your room or hike to Skookumchuck Narrows in an hour (4 km from the hotel to the Narrows.)"
