"Grand, historic charm characterize the experience here. The hotel was built in 1893, so the building had its quirks, but these add to the distinctive atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Again the building is quite old, and our suite did not have a thermostat nor an exhaust fan in the bathroom, but it was comfortable nonetheless, as the ceiling fan and open windows did the trick. "

"Downtown Aspen, with wonderful service from everyone that we have encountered at the hotel. Shuttle from airport and around town is a nice perk, and the breakfast is great. Overall this was a great stay on our visit to Aspen."

"We had a room with a bathroom. Very nice, with a big bed. Breakfast was great and happy hour in the afternoon a pleasant surprise. Nice location adjacent to a hiking trail head. We were there in mid October, the super warm pool was hot-tub-like!! Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. "

"We were blown away by how spacious our room was! We could set up the play pin for our one year old, and take that down and set up his pack and play, with room to spare! We really enjoyed the balcony common area as well. 5 minute walk to the hot springs, and dining options just as close. "
